Both the Judo and Jiu Jitsu instructors are superb and very knowledgeable.
If youre new, I would recommend trying out one of each class, as they are taught by different instructors and obviously the content is different.
The classes are on the smaller size (at least for now), which allows for lots of personalized instruction and feedback. The coaches often train with us too!
The coaches strike a good balance of providing structure while pivoting to focus on students needs and curiousities. I have felt very invested in by all coaches. You will learn a lot, and fast!
As a total beginner and woman, I felt the atmosphere / gym culture was very inclusive and welcoming.
The kids program seems strong and vibrant, and would be an excellent activity to enroll your kids in. I notice the kiddos leaving both excited and a bit tuckered out!
Ive seen the mats cleaned every day Ive been there (big win).
Tuition is very reasonable.
There is a group that travels for competitions and training if that is of interest.
They opened pretty recently so dont be deterred by the lack of Google reviews, theyre just a newer business. The owner / head coach is very personable and receptive to feedback.
