Bank of America (with Drive-thru ATM) - Madera (CA)

1 /5 istvankm: This bank does not help the poor. After my wedding and starting nursing school, I couldnt keep up with maintaining $3,000 in my savings account. Therefore, the bank was charging me $15 monthly "maintenance" fees. Now that Im trying to close my accounts with them, they wont let me leave! I have to zero out my accounts (take all my $$ out) and then the only way I can close my accounts is to call the company number (1-800). But they dont let you close for a few days. Probably because they know you still have automatic payments occurring and they want to make sure your account (with $0) is charged so they can squeeze more money out of you with overdraft fees! Its a going away present for BOA! It is definitely a time for a change! If you are tired of losing $$ from BOA, get out of there ASAP! Go to a bank that isnt as complicated and doesnt charge monthly fees! I am personally going to Golden 1 for their free checking. Cant wait to finally rid myself of BOA if they ever let me go!

1 /5 Adriana Diaz: I rarely visit this branch, today while I was in line waiting to deposit a check. A customer service representative was assisting a client, not a teller. She was discussing his private business a little bit too loud it sounded like she was scolding him. Some customers dont possess valid social security, and thats not for the rest of the lobby to know. I feel she could talk to the client a bit more quietly as well as privately. Attentively A long-time customer

1 /5 Antonio: Ive tried canceling my account that was opened through EDD they both have been sending me back and forth and wont close my account. Yall are doing fraud with EDD keeping all these accounts open. Lame, dishonest, money hungry corporations

1 /5 Mayra Colin: With new managers, less tellers long lines. You should not be waiting almost an hour or more to make a transaction. It is ridiculous. Something needs to be done. This bank is at its worst and a lot of people are banking somewhere else now. Sometimes lines are out the door.
