IconFit - Los Angeles
LA_ A: Overall this Gym is great, amenities is okay. Steam room is not the cleanest and doesn’t always work. Sauna is very nice, but I saw someone come in with shoes on which is a big no. Towel service is amazing. For the price, they should do a little better and be more strict when it comes to wearing shoes in the sauna.
TractFit - Santa Monica
Chelsea M: Highly recommend! Instructor and workout was great
The Study Santa Monica - Santa Monica
Brooke Rachman: 5 Stars - Highly Recommend The Study! Ive been training for my first fitness race, and Im so glad I found The Study! I signed up for 6 private EMS training sessions with Karen, and its been an incredible experience. The facility is spotless, and the atmosphere is welcoming. It includes everything you need to recover after a tough session - cold plunge, sauna, and showers. The staff is knowledgeable and really takes the time to ensure youre getting the most out of your training. Karen is an absolute professional. Every session with her feels focused and personalized, and its like the world disappears while were training - shes that good at keeping you engaged and pushing you to reach your potential. Im already noticing amazing results and cant wait for my next session! I highly recommend The Study to anyone looking for top-notch one-on-one personal training. Whether youre new to fitness or training for a race like me, this place is the real deal!
FIT4MOM Santa Monica - Santa Monica
Vallery McCown: Joining Fit4Mom has been one of the best things I’ve done as a new mom. My postpartum journey would have felt so much different (and not as fun) without this amazing group. The workouts leave me feeling strong and energized, the instructors truly care and adjust to how you and your body are feeling that day, and they even help keep the babies happy so you can finish your workout. Beyond the exercise, they plan fun events, create a safe space for moms, and have given me friendships I’ll cherish forever, both for me and my little one, who now has sweet baby friends of her own. It’s more than a fitness group; it’s a supportive, affordable mom tribe I tell every mom about.
Oak Park - The Home of CrossFit Los Angeles - Santa Monica
Maxwell Morro: A fantastic place to grow, get stronger and connect. They have some incredible coaches there, and I always enjoy meeting the other kind hearted members who are showing up each time. Thank you, Oak Park.
Pure Barre - Santa Monica
Emily Emmons: Pure Barre has become so much more than just a workout for me—it’s a daily practice that gives me an hour to reconnect with myself. Each class is a chance to check in with my mental and physical state, focus on my breath, and let go of anything that isn’t serving my best self. I’m 82 classes in now, and I can honestly say I don’t know what I’d do without it. I’m deeply grateful for this space, this community, and the clarity it brings into my life.
Blue Republic CrossFit Gym - Santa Monica
Robert Smith: Looking for a welcoming, friendly and epic box in Santa Monica, this is it! What more could you want… weights and dogs! We popped in for a session whilst in town and was met by a wonderful team and obviously a great workout! Would love to come back when next in town! Thanks guys!
Sweat Yoga - Santa Monica
Yamit Florentin: Come EARLY, even 15-20 minutes before class, not only to be able to find parking but also to check in (there is a screen by the front desk) and, most importantly- to find and secure a spot for your mat! All the other reviews pointing out how packed the class is are correct. Sweat Yoga needs to change that. Especially in a hot room, you want enough space to move your body freely. They maximize profit by squeezing as many people as possible into a hot, sweaty, medium-sized room. Ive tried CorePower Yoga (both locations, on 2nd Street and Wilshire), and their classes are much less crowded. The instructor, Isabel Galler, was excellent; she knew what she was doing and how to keep us motivated and focused. She guided us with her voice soft but firm voice. Are you in good shape? Hot Yoga will humble you really quickly! I had to leave the room for a minute about three times to catch a breath and cool my body a bit. At the end of the flow, you get a cold, wet, small towel to help your body cool down and recover. I definitely felt rejuvenated after the session. The womens bathrooms and showers can get crowded. There are lockers in the womens restroom with a lock and code. The customer service at the front desk could be better. As I walked in, I wasnt greeted in any way. Street metered parking: If you come to the 6:30 AM class, you will find parking quickly and can put money in the meter at 8 AM so that parking will be free.
Ultimate Performance Personal Trainers Los Angeles, Santa Monica - Santa Monica
Stephanie Lue: Abigail is a fantastic personal trainer. She is an expert on nutrition and in-gym exercises and I love working with her. I am completely supported in changing my nutrition plan - learning about macros, finding the right foods, meal planning, making good choices while traveling, etc. In the gym, Abi has extreme attention to detail; she makes very important corrections on form to maximize ROI on each exercise. Ive always been active, and have worked with personal trainers, physical therapists in the past - none of them had made the massive difference in my fitness, as Abi has made for me.
