5 /5 Drew Clayton: Love this gym because beyond the great facilities and staff, theres a true community. The coaches are thoughtful, positive, and engaging, making sure everyone is focused on form and safety, but also knowing when to push someone who has more left in the tank.
Great people too; the gym sets up a lot of events outside the gym to get to know people and really solidify the community and friendships.
The outdoor workout area is such a great feature. Were in LA, why not enjoy the sun while we work out, right?
The CrossFit classes are awesome; I get *worked* by them, even when I have to scale down or augment a movement. Again, the coaches help us figure out how to stay safe at any level. Some of the folks there are impressive athletes, while a lot of us are just normies looking to get incrementally better.
Their circuit training program ("PitFire") is great for a burn without the barbells. Therere also olympic lifting classes and occasional mobility and breathwork sessions.
Only two gym dogs here, but Im ok with it on account of theyre the sweetest.
Also: An easy and free parking lot in LA? Amazing. Who can compete with that?
