    Travis Clarke: Went to Lake Tahoe Community College with the Sonoma State Womens Soccer team to play a game. The coach and AD greeted us at the door of the Phys Ed building and were great hosts. The campus looks beautiful and is set among giant trees and it looks like new dorms are in the middle of being built. What a cool place to go to college for a few years!

    Robert Kushner: Every transaction is a nightmare. The first deposit was on hold for 30 days and every deposit after that was hold for over a week. I tried to use my debit card for an online transaction and there was a hold on that too. After a 30 minute hold to the number on the back of the card I was told I would have to, "step into the branch". I asked to speak to their supervisor but was told the same thing. I also signed up for their merchant account and that was a nightmare also. I was charged about $200 and $60 every month even though my contract stated they would not do that. I was able to get most of the money back but I had close my merchant account and open another one with another bank. Bank of the West is also not open on Saturdays and closes at 5:00 on the week days. This was the last straw for me. I will be closing all 3 accounts tomorrow, business checking, personal checking and savings account.

    Kristen Phillips: I had an MRI done this week and wanted to pay my bill for $1,200 and the billing employee put an extra zero and charged me $12,000!! They assured me they canceled the charge even though I showed them the money came out of my bank account. They were not helpful and made me feel like I was over reacting. They later called and told me the payment vendor said the money didn’t go through. The charge posted to my bank account this morning, and my bank confirmed the claim did indeed go through. Everyone I have talked to has shuffled me off or not been helpful and I don’t know how or when I will get TWELVE THOUSAND dollars back. Hoping my bank can help me because Barton employees sure aren’t.
