Brianna Sanchez I have been going to mermaid nails for almost two years now. Every time I go in I feel welcomed by the staff which are amazing. The salon is spacious and relaxing which makes it a perfect setting for a spa/me day. After all my appointments I leave with a huge smile on my face because my nails always come out the way I imagine or even better. I get compliments whenever my nails are done which is a huge thank you to Rosie. She is patient with the designs I come in with and very focused with every detail. The pedicure service done by Hanna is spectacular, she takes her time and keeps everything clean. Definitely book with mermaid nails, you wont regret it.

Marisela Quezada Mermaid Nails provided a professional and excellent customer service. I am very happy with Rosi (she did my pretty peach pink color 012 almond shape acrylic gel nails) and Hanna (did the deluxe pedicure with the jasmine scrum and lotion it smelled so nice!) I loved the foot massage so much needed! I got a full set. The Salon is very safe and clean. The background music that was playing was so relaxing that I took a nap! I highly recommend Mermaid nails! Will definitely be going back!

Sunny G Rosie is awesome! Its been 2 weeks and my nails still look great. Ive gotten so many compliments on my nails! They respond quickly to inquiries and were able to schedule my appointment right away. Prices are reasonable even with detailed nail design. No need to go anywhere else

Rachel Wonnacott Love Jill. This is an excellent place for waxing. I tried multiple places when I moved to Monterey until I found Siren. She is professional, clean and does great waxing. Listens to what you want and delivers.

Charlotte Nancy did an awesome job on my full set today, I definitely recommend her. The salon had nice music playing and the chairs were really comfy. There are two TVs to entertain you and it fostered a relaxing environment although the walls aren’t well decorated. The only negative to my first experience is that the price was unexpected and unclear, I was charged 72$ for this set which is far more expensive than I’ve spent before at other salons, so I probably will not be back for that reason. I think it would be important to post a menu of sorts either on the wall or for the clients to sift through.

Melissa Martin I got a basic mani pedi yesterday for the 2nd time and am consistently very happy with their work. They also get me in and out quickly without compromising quality at all. I plan to continue coming here and look forward to my next appointment! :)

Taylor Macias I was visiting Monterey for 2 days, on a super tight time crunch. I looked at many massage studios in Monterey and was captured by the cleanliness and amount of positive reviews. I was lucky enough to be a client of Cheryl’s who I read MANY a positive reviews about and she truly met all my expectations. From start to finish Cheryl made me feel extremely comfortable her space was so clean. I had the best experience. Despite living 3 hrs away I will be back anytime I am in Monterey! Thank you Cheryl!

rosa jacinto It was a bad experience, the nails were fine, but the design wasnt the worst. It was later in the filling, they didnt do it right, and my nail caught fungus. Be very careful because they only care about money.

Audra Volpe **new owners--ignore old reviews** This is hands down the best mani/pedi Ive gotten on the peninsula! I visited in August of last year and wasnt over the moon with the results, but I decided to give them another try today while out shopping and Im so glad I did! I learned that since my last visit, new owners have taken over. Its been refurbished since last summer and the staff was incredibly kind, with a seemingly endless color selection available. I got a gel pedicure and acrylic manicure from one of the owners and it is without a doubt the happiest Ive ever been after a nail appointment. She was the most thorough nail tech Ive ever had, making sure each nail matched in length and shape exactly to the other hand, and the leg massage during the pedicure nearly put me to sleep it was so relaxing! I thought I had found my home nail salon, but todays experience has convinced me that Signature Nails is the only place to go!

Kayli H they were very nice but the service was very rushed. paid for 45 minute pedi and he did it in 30. they definitely do the cuticle shortcut with the filer that cuts your cuticles up and made me bleed. lumpy and thin manicure but ok for the price.

Carmelita Lopez I had a bad experience at Top Nail. I asked for pink powder, French tip, gel nails. I wanted to have them shorted too. I got nude powder, put so thinly it was patchy. I had to ask if she could put more powder so it was a thorough coat. Then when filing she cut me twice, laughing each time. Then sent me to the male co worker because she quit. He then proceeded to finish filing. He started to paint a pink coat to substitute for the pink powder i did not get. He did not even cover my full nails. Many times I had to ask if he could actually cover my nails completely. Then he did a terrible job air brushing the French tip. I was there two hours, left with crooked French tip, Barbie pink terrible nails, and patch work. They knew I wasn’t happy, but I kept trying to be polite, never again! I came home and repainted them to cover all the flaws. These two pictures alone shows the bad work. All of my nails looked like this. I did not tip, as I was not satisfied with the craftsmanship. Before I left they were already talking about me for not leaving a tip!

Victor G If you’re a guy do not go here! They’ll half ass your manicure thinking you don’t know what a good manicure should be! Horrible job on my cuticles and did not even touch my nail beds when pushing back my cuticles and left so much extra skin! Didn’t bother speak but cuz I didnt have the energy to do so but just know I will not be back!

Jamie Skyta I have been to this salon twice. Each time I had about a ten minute wait to get my manicure started. But once they got to work, it was great. Both times the polish (not gel, just regular ole polish) lasted about 10 days! And I was not babying my hands. I use my hands to do dishes, yard work, housework, etc. Polish still stayed looking great.

Daphne Thomas Decide to find another nail salon. They are rude, talk about you in their language and think you dont know it, the guy that does nails is rude as well. Told me I was too picky when he did a fill for me for Nu and I gave him a few choice words and he has held a grudge over it. I see another person posted the same issue on him. They get mad when you tell them how you want your nails done as well. The last few days I have been calling they would not answer the phone or book me in as they always do. The Only nice lady there is the one that does eyebrows. She is a very sweet lady and always speaks when I walk in. The rest of them need customer service training and need to know that if it were not for the faithful paying customers they would not have a business. Will never go back again!!!

Brian Soriano My girlfriend and I were in the pacific grove area for the weekend, She wanted a pedicure, so we took a drive into seaside and found this place. She says the lady was very nice and did a great job. If she ever needs a pedicure and we’re in the area she will definitely go bk.
