The salon is beautifully set up, and you can tell they really care about both quality and comfort. My nail tech was amazing—super attentive and detail-oriented. She took the time to make sure everything was exactly how I wanted, and the end result was perfect! My nails look stunning, and the quality is honestly one of the best I’ve had. Anastasiia Makarenko Have been going here for the last year every month for a smart gel manicure and pedicure with Polina. They always do an amazing job that last, absolutely everything is 10/10 techs, service, booking, atmosphere and of course results. I recommend booking right after you are done so you can get your perfect date and time you want, Polina bookes out quick!

Stacy G. Update - they charge a $2 fee if you pay with a credit card. Loved my powder dip manicure by Jenny, she did an excellent job, they just need more colors to choose from. My regular pedicure was OK - it hasn’t been 2 weeks yet and it’s already chipped. It was a non Opi brand but I got 3 coats and perhaps no top coat?

Amy Cutting INCREDIBLE PLACE!!! I got the most amazing nightmare before christmas acrylic nail design! Patricia is an artist!! She & everyone there treated us as if we were family. My daughter is autistic and readily agreed to get hers done! Im on hospice and giant nails with out there nail art has been on my bucket list like forever!! I am beyond greatful that I went for it!!!! Patricia is exponentially more talented than any pictures you can look up online. I gave a very generous tip, this is EXTREMELY rare for me!! They are JUST. THAT. GOOD!! Already made my next appointment!!!

Catalina Vazquez Patricia does PHENOMENAL work! Honestly performed magic because I came in with some rough nails.. I had dip residue still on them from a previous salon that I tried to get off myself, they were all chipped, cracked and just not cute. Left so happy and so taken care of!

I’ve been going once a month for almost a year and didn’t mind the price because I’ve always had great experiences and these nails usually last!! And for the most part I haven’t had a tech I didn’t like. But my most recent visit was not great and then my nails lasted TWO WEEKS. Usually they last 4 weeks at a minimum and again I don’t mind paying the money but TWO WEEKS?! I might as well go to a local salon and pay less. These recent nails were SOFT and peeled off at two weeks to the day. I’m so upset my nails and cuticles are allllll ripped up and I have to get a whole new set now. I contacted them MULTIPLE times, and their final answer was to review their “7 day policy” which is to come back the first week for any issues. But mine was two weeks… which is two weeks shorter than usual for me. Honestly all the girls I know that go last about the same amount of time. And nothing. I’m sad and disappointed because now I have to pay more for a full set of when clearly these were not cured correctly. I don’t want to have to find a new place but this is terrible business. Avoid the tech Mary.

I’ve had my nails done by almost everyone at the salon and never been disappointed! Truly amazing work and worth every penny! Aigul did a great job with my shorter style today! They can do anything! I love this salon and will never go anywhere else! Aigul is my girl and I had to come on here again to say how amazing this place is. They do the most perfect job making sure the shape, design and style is the best it can get! I will upload some photos below of the amazing quality and crisp nails!

Patrick Williams Very friendly first time here and very professional and it was very anxious to be in a nail salon as a man and wasnt long before I was at ease. I had some pedicure and nail services done and was not too rough or tickling it felt amazing and like a fine massage. And the chair you sit in has recline and massage features that were amazing it was well worth it

Ian Adams Had an afternoon wandering Coronado with my wife. She had been wanting a pedicure and I like to run and taking care of my feet is nice treat. We found style N smile and the service matched the high reviews. They got us in and cleaned up. They were quick and friendly and Diane even gave me advice to better take care of my feet on my own. Rachel Waranowicz 10/10! I love Nirvana Nails and Ellie, who does my nails every time, is the best! I moved to North County a year ago and after a few months of commuting downtown to my tried and true nail salon, I finally did my research to find my new spot in the area. I chose Nirvana based on the overwhelming amount of positive reviews and pictures I saw. I’ve been coming here for 9 months now and the thing that has made my experience here special is the welcoming and kind atmosphere created by people like Ellie, Cynthia, and Jenny. (Unlike many salons I’ve visited where you’re uneasy because no one acknowledges you once you’re there, or you feel like they’re talking about you, or it’s a rushed poor quality job). We always have fun chatting and they remember the things going on in your life and follow up on me each time I’m there. They are always trying to make me comfortable, offering drinks, face masks, snacks etc. After seeing me a few times and listening to my nail issues and what I like, Ellie suggested I try Hard Gel (I had never heard of this and no previous salon has ever given me alternative suggestions). I had previously done regular gel and dip powder (my nails like to curl away from dip after a while), and the hard gel has been a great solution. My nails actually grow long now and don’t chip or curl away. I also have gotten to experiment with all sorts of nail art and designs since coming here. Ellie is always up to the challenge and takes her time to make sure the application and designs are perfect. The artistry is so impressive, I have a whole new way to express myself now. The foot massage feels great and relaxing and it makes my feet/legs feel so much better after my routine workout and jogs! The owner MS. Jennifer is funny, pleasant and friendly! Tina was the one who did my pedicure and she was amazing. She was so gentle and caring when doing my toes. Tiffany was above and beyond. Geena Gelato I just moved to SD and have been trying different salons to find my perfect manicure. I live downtown and usually go for the (much more expensive & time consuming) Russian manicures, but I liked the super shiny finish on the nails done here, and especially Tiff’s work, so I made the trip out. It was so worth it. Tiff is incredibly quick yet recreated my inspo picture perfectly (correct tone of base polish, and correct chrome powder) with just a glance. They do same-time services for an even quicker experience, and use DND brand and also some cool jelly polishes which I opted for to get the finish I wanted. Tin who did my pedicure was also wonderful and did a fantastic massage. I will definitely be back!

The lovely nail artist that took care of me was very patient and taught me all about gel and dip powder nails. I chose dip powder, wanted something simple and clear and she delivered beautifully. Emily M I had a great experience this afternoon. I haven’t visited a nail salon in what feels like 10 years, and this experience helped me realize how much I have missed it. We called earlier in the day to see if they’d have an afternoon slot available. When we arrived, we only waited 5-10 mins. The business was very clean and organized. I had a deluxe pedicure and regular manicure done. I enjoyed and loved both. The little things also matter so much like small talk and one of the nail specialist (I can’t remember her name but she was wearing a black shirt with tan/brown flowers) brought me a pillow to hold up the book I was reading. Lisa, was also very kind and really good at what she does. She also took time to explain the benefits of gel nail polish, which now I will try the next time I visit. Thank you!

The location is so convenient and the space is friendly and inviting. Ive been a very pleased fan since the discovering the first location in 2015. E T Their is my favorite place to get a pedicure! The prices are reasonable, and the quality of the spa services are top notch. The staff are very nice and always take great care of me. They offer something to drink, and are very relaxed about letting customers hang out and catch up while their nails dry. My favorite part of the pedicure is the actual orange slices and candle wax they use to enhance the leg scrub experience.

Jenna Subak I’ve visited a lot of nail salons in the area and most are just ok, but I really enjoyed my experience here! The guy who answered the phone/runs the front desk (and maybe the entire business?) was so friendly and paid close attention to the customer experience. The gal who my nails, wish I’d gotten her name, did a great job and was super efficient and friendly. So glad I found this place!

Yendry Arreaga You be the judge. Look at the other pictures from recent reviews. Look again. The lines are all very messy and have poor, uneven application, they dont clean up the cuticle at All unless you beg them too. Crooked nail shaping on at least one nail. Pedicure lady was too elderly to give a good massage, still tipped her. If you are super particular about your nails or dont want the nail tech to shave layer after layer of your real nails off... Run away. Youll be CRY MAD level mad after you pay and tip and get to your car and look at your hands. They were nice enough but when I told the owner that the nail tech didnt apply the polish recently she said it was because of my nails. Oh ... The nails that she literally hot drilled off of me?! Dont come here for polish removal.

Nails were so even, polish wasn’t left on my hands, truly a perfect manicure. Me, Mia and Tammy laughed and had a fun time. It was a wonderful first time experience and I will 100% be back!

I try to get a pedicure done before Lee works on my nails, so my toe nail polish can dry. I have a quirky glitter top coat thing I do with just two nails on each hand that makes me happy! I change colors almost every visit and Im typically there every 3 weeks.

Vika Crisostomo First and last time here. Tim did an amazing job and was super friendly and did everything I wanted for my nails. Great customer service and attention to detail. I love my nails. Only thing is the price. I usually do my nails in Tijuana Mexico because it’s more affordable. Over the phone when I was price checking I booked with them because they stated acrylic was $55+. I didn’t realize it would go up to $20. These acrylic nails with design cost $75 without tip. This is why this will be the first and last because of the price is so high. Back to Mexico I go. Other than that great time there.

Corinna The first time I went here there is no doubt in my mind I would have given them 5 stars. I still stand by that as long as it’s the wife or husband owner that does your nails. The second time I went the girl I had about cut one of my little toes off (exaggeration… but she got me good)and nicked two of my cuticles on my fingers making them all bleed. She painted them beautifully but for how much I had to bleed for it was crazy. I was also not happy she did not soak my gel off and instead sanded it off and made my nails thinner than necessary. At the end of it all she still asked for a tip?!

From the moment you arrive, Angelina provides impeccable bedside manner and makes you feel comfortable. M A (AliciaDotM) Avoid at all costs. Owner did my nails despite requesting Lily. I was cut 3 times on the pedi. A chip was left in my nail. Three nails lifted the paint after only a few hours because it was thick and gloppy. I go back the next day and one tore off again. I am enraged. I gave them the chance to make it right, but this is the owner. Cannot tell you to not come here enough. Pics do not lie. This is terrible.

Natalie Me and my friend were able to walk in without appointments, very convenient. I got a gel manicure, and me and my friend both got pedicures. The total was like $113 before the tip which I think is a damn good deal for what you get. Im happy with how my cuticles turned out, so many other places will drill your cuticles or cut too far and make you bleed and this is one of the only salons that got it right. Our feet were so crusty before our pedicures and now they are soft and look great. Plus the lady who did my nails was super sweet.

Jules Shumate I am completely in love with these nails and the price I paid for them wasn’t even close to the prices I pay back at home in Cincinnati. All the things I loved: -tons of booking/times online, easy to book -they TEXT me (not automated) to confirm details of the appt. almost immediately. Very personalized. -the services: gel removal, manicure AND gel nails with chrome cost a total of $60 -the above only took 60 minutes tops. -for the massage part, they bust out a timer for so they are equitable about time! -there were four of the workers standing around these nails by the end telling me and the nail tech how beautiful they were (and they weren’t wrong) One thing to note: the location is not the same as the google maps location. They have a nail salon at 255 G Street, San Diego, CA 92101 so they may text to send you there. It was just a wonderful experience and anyone traveling into downtown San Diego should go here.

megan rowlands I really wanted to enjoy taking my daughter to get a manicure and pedicure at Bayside nails. However, we waited over 20 minutes past our appointment time to get started on the pedicures. There was no communication about when our manicures would start and after 45 minutes I let the manager know we no longer have time for a manicure. She offered to just have our nails painted so I’d be done in time. I agreed to have our nails painted and she tried to charge me for a full manicure treatment for myself and my daughter ($50). When I explained I would not pay those charges because I did not get that service she pushed back a few times. They do not validate parking which was $15 for 1.5 hours. I will not be going back because it was rushed and not the experience I expected. Additionally, my cuticle was injured.

Aarika Lorenscheit I saw Demi for about 6 years at Terris and never left a review because she is Terris best kept secret! Now that I have moved away, I wanted to give Demi the spotlight she deserves. Demi is so speedy, efficient, consistent, and very detailed. The cherry on top is that no matter what application I got, the nails did not lift or chip. The only reason I would go about every three weeks was due to outgrowth. Lastly, the salon is also renovated so well and has any color/ brand you could possibly want.

Alice Henderson I specifically started going to this salon because they were the only place I found that did Bio Gel manicures near me. Since then, I have been getting my nails done with Sarah. She does an absolutely amazing job every single time. The Bio Gel keeps my natural nails growing long and the way she does it, they never peel up. She is quick, yet I can tell she is very meticulous, and cares to make them perfect. The shape is always amazing and the polish is always done perfectly. Highly recommend!
