miki seki I had an extremely disappointing experience during working with Helen. Helens demeanor towards me was highly unpleasant, because she took the unusual step towards a client. We had a phone call difficulty back and forth couldn’t reach out each other. She emailed me screenshots of her phone calls. Because She insisted that my phone was not working properly with problems. In response, I suggested that if our phone calls were difficult, we could resort to email as an alternative way of communication. I emphasized the importance of avoiding unnecessary back-and-forth exchanges of screenshots, which only to waste time. I offered a constructive suggestion for Helen to be more professionalism in her approach. However, she was very mad and responded with anger, sending emails stating that the she was not interested in providing insurance services to me . Christian Cary I am an apartment building owner. It is now almost impossible to get liability insurance for apartment buildings in California in todays environment. All the carriers are leaving the state. After my insurance agent of many years procrastinated and then failed to find me an affordable policy, I was within days of having no insurance at all. Worried, I called BPIA and spoke to Mark Woods. He was FAR more knowledgeable of the CA apartment insurance landscape, and knew exactly what to do and where to find high quality insurance. He explained to me patiently, and in detail the situation, and where we would find a provider. Finally, at the last minute, my old agent did find a policy. It was from out of state, without CA protections, and 2x the price of my old policy, with less coverage. Mark advised me that it was an inferior product and promised he would find a CA carrier with higher $$$ limits and a lower price. He made me his top priority, and searched tirelessly, and in the RIGHT places, communicating frequently along the way, as he knew I was worried. He found a CA carrier with 50% higher limits, better terms, and $2000 cheaper. Now we had to process a bunch of paperwork and answer detailed questions about circuit breakers brands, furnaces, and construction, as required by the carrier. We worked great as a team. The day my old policy expired, Mark worked with me until 11:55 PM to get all the paperwork done and submitted so that coverage would be in effect that same day. At 10:30 PM, when I said, "Mark, please take the rest of the night off and go to bed.", he said, "No. I dont want to see you go without coverage another day." He got the paperwork submitted a few minutes before midnight, showing an effective date that same day. I have to admit I have never gotten an adrenalin rush out of insurance before! Mark Woods at BPIA was the most professional, caring, hard working, dedicated insurance agent I have ever experienced. He took my need for insurance as a personal priority. I highly recommend him and BPIA without reservation.

Steve Fisher After more than 20 years and several businesses covered by BPIA I only had one claim which happened this year, and they did absolutely nothing to help me when I needed them, and their response was, we are just a broker, you need to deal with it yourself! Dont waste your time and go direct to the insurance company and save a lot of money.

Ken Tan After 40 years with State Farm, they doubled my house insurance in a year and will increase again the 2nd year, basically triple my insurance I shopped around, and found Patrick at Farmer’s Not only he found a plan that we can afford, he also provided excellent service, followed up regularly after policies are issued I have not received this type of support from my previous insurance company We ended up purchasing fire and house, umbrella and earthquake insurance thru him I highly recommend him to be your agent Ken

Carlos and his team are always extremely responsive and knowledgeable. Most of the time when I call their office one of them will pick up the phone almost immediately -- I am unaccustomed to such great service anymore (as most of us could probably attest to), and am very grateful for their ongoing support. When I have a request it is usually handled same day. I have many policies through Carlos agency and would never consider looking elsewhere. Looking forward to the next 25 years!!

Nolan Encarnacion this review is related to how easy it was to cancel my policy. Customer service was understanding and made sure I had coverage before I cancelled by policy. I cancelled because of the rate increase because my Liberty Mutual policy in California was being transferred to Safeco. Im sure theyre fine as an insurance company, but this was an unfortunate situation where I needed to find a better policy.

Ramiro Valencia I was a costumer for a few years and they canceled my policy after summiting my pictures to renew my policy. Note: my policy was canceled Because I didn’t call them to make sure they received my photos. I never got instructions to call back two days after my photos were summitted and they wouldn’t renew my policy and I have to get a new policy or insurance company.
