Thurgood Moore I recently visited the dentist prior to my upcoming appointment due to an issue I’ve been having with my front crown tooth. I expressed my concerns to Jojo, the manager, and I truly appreciated how she handled the situation. She immediately acknowledged the problem and could clearly see the issue with the crown. I also brought up my dissatisfaction with the person who previously worked on it, and Jojo didn’t dismiss my concerns but instead, she validated them and told me she would look further into what happened. That level of accountability and willingness to follow up helped put me at ease for the time being. I’m hoping for a better resolution moving forward, but I’m grateful for how Jojo handled it during my visit.

Daniel Wang Joni was excellent for teeth cleaning *while in the dental office, I was pressured into writing a review. Truth be told, I arrived at my 10:00am appointment 5 minutes early. Didn’t get seen by the Dr until 1pm and didn’t get teeth cleaned and out the door until 3:45pm.

Marianne Gunther-Murphy I had a fantastic experience with Dr. Young and his office. He was super-thorough & diagnosed an infection in a tooth root before it got severe and did more damage the tooth. Both the oral surgery and the tooth graft went well. He was wonderful about answering questions, and giving me choices when possible. He checked in the next day to see how I was doing. But he also continued to check in during the few days afterwards, which gave me a chance to ask him a couple questions.. I have great trust in his work as well as his care about his patient’s wellbeing. 5 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️all the way.

Alix Jeffrey I have PTSD from this practice and my experience with Dr. Young. He wanted to do my front teeth extraction and implants didn’t even tell me treatment options. My coworker who I work with confirmed my suspicions about him after I left this office and went to another dentist. To not be patient centric and not look at the patient’s mouth after looking at the X-ray was not comforting. Having dental phobia and anxiety it was distressing to me. When I had to do the mold for the treatment plan the person kept on messing up the tray size was wrong. It took me every ounce of me to not yell at the person, after I told him that it was too big. I practically threw up on him. The dentist I have now the office everyone is communicative to me in a professional way. They even gave me a payment plan for the front teeth of crowns not extractions. It is less than what was quoted for 2 teeth!

Luis Fernandez Dr. Ann Wei is my "one-stop shop" for pretty much all my dental needs! After seeing a handful of dental professionals who made me feel like I wasnt doing a good job with my dental hygiene, being passed from one specialist to another, and recommending seemingly unnecessary procedures and accessories, seeing Dr. Wei for the first time in January was a revelation. She struck me as honest, unassuming, and extremely professional, and she respected me as a person and patient! Her staff are gentle and respectful, her clinic is spacious, and the downtown location is stellar. Suffice it to say that when I visit her clinic, it is like "going home!"

David Letona I went here sometime January 9th of 2023 for acute pain that had developed over the course of 48 hours and continued to increase in intensity. I came here to get my pain addressed urgently because I had a flight back to Long Beach the same day. Upon arriving, I told the Dentist my symptoms and what over the counter stuff I took and the dosages. I was told I had a small abscess forming but nothing was visible on the surface, only in the pocket on X-ray. I maxed out my daily limit for Tylenol, and Ibuprofen. I was told that because of that, I was unable to receive Vicodin, since it contained some Tylenol. I asked for a Lidocaine injection to buy me time for pain relief during the flight, and he stated "thats not how that works" Instead, I was given a prescription for Amoxicillin and told to not be so hesitant before I at least try it. I wasnt offered any numbing gel, alternative analgesics, or even an ice pack for the road. I left that "emergency dental office" with the same emergency and pain I came in with. I stood in a long line for a medication that ultimately did not work. Once I landed in Long Beach, I scheduled an emergency appointment with my dentist and got the first time slot when they opened. Once the hygienist looked in my mouth, she stormed out of the room to get the dentist. I was immediately given a lidocaine injection and my pain was relieved. I was given Augmentin, which worked perfectly. I coincidentally now live in San Francisco, looking for a dentist when I came across this familiar name. I wanted to write about my experience for others who are scrolling through their phone in excruciating pain, to avoid this place. This guy pays to clean up his Yelp reviews, and had my “tip” removed. This Dentist never once reached out to apologize or make things right.

Hanna Castañeda This place is wonderful! I had a consultation for my 3-year-old son with Dr Emily today. The staff and doctor were all so welcoming and accommodating. Dr Emily answered all of my questions thoroughly and she truly has a gift with caring for little kids that might feel a little uncomfortable for the first time. She is very knowledgeable and gave me a handful of great resources and referrals. She was able to explain things to me that other dentists had never explained. She has a very sweet and demeanor and educated in her field of pediatric dentistry. I would definitely recommend this pediatric dentistry to anyone in the Bay Area! Robert Choe I have been going to Innovative Dental for many many years. They are very professional and do their best to accommodate. I am definitely NOT an easy patient. And they always go way out of their way to do right by me. Had my Invisaligns done here and I lost trays several times. I have done implants, crowns, and other work that was as painless as can be. I have been to several other dentists in my life and I can tell you they are the absolute best. From front office (Lynda and team) to Dr. Han and every staff member. I really appreciate all of them.

Kenneth Reodica Dr. Ho is simply the best! I had the worst tooth ache on a Sunday late afternoon, when all dental offices are usually closed already. I tried and gave All Smiles Dental a call and as I expected it went straight to voicemail. What I didnt expect was a return call and a text from Dr. Ho himself! Their office was already closed but he took the time to evaluate my situation and was genuinely concerned about the pain I was going through. He went above and beyond by setting up an emergency procedure that Sunday night. I cannot thank him enough for what he did and to think it was my first time calling his office. Needless to say, he is my new favorite dentist! He is very thorough and made me feel safe! I have always been scared of dentists, but this is the first time that I wasnt. He made me feel at ease and was just very professional and calm. I truly recommend Dr. Ho! He is simply the best!

Thu Vo All Smile Dental is the best dental in the Bay Area. I have been going there for almost 11 years. I stopped going there since Covid due to health insurance. Dr. Ho still reached out sometimes to ask about my implant Recently. I reached out to Dr. Ho because my implant is loosened a little bit. I have to pay almost $400 out of pocket to have it tighten up at UCSF Dental school(which is where I’m going’s now). Dr. Ho got back to me right away to have my implant tighten up at his office at a very reasonable price. Dr. Ho is an incredible dentist. He never recommends any unnecessary procedures or products. I’m very grateful to have him as my former dentist. I wish I will have a chance to go back to him in the future.

Stephen Chow I found this dental clinic on Google and decided to give a try because its just a few blocks from my office. The overall experience was great. Despite having an appointment, there was a wait. I went in for a regular teeth cleaning, waited 12 minutes, had an X-ray, and then another short wait, totaling about 26 minutes before being seen by the dentist. The cleaning and polish took less than 30 minutes, which was efficient, though results may vary depending on your dental health. The staff was helpful, and I was able to complete all the forms via online in advance, which saved a lot of time. The crew and dentist are very friendly.

Fortunately, I came across this clinic that was able to provide same day appointment. The treatment I received provided much-needed relief. The doctor was extremely patient, accurately diagnosed the issue, and addressed it with great care. False sense of security on costs: Staff assured me insurance would cover everything—maybe even leave a credit. Two months later, I got a surprise $500 bill. I’d already paid a few hundred dollars for the deep cleaning and repeatedly asked the staff to confirm there would be no additional charges. If they told me about the possibility of this being denied I would not have gotten the treatment. Hard sell on unnecessary work: Every patient seems to get the same bundle: deep cleaning, a custom night mouthguard, and some herbal mouth wash. Two other dentists—including my orthodontist—told me the deep cleaning was overkill for me and advised me to find another dentist that wasnt prescribing unnecessary work. Zero accountability—despite a chorus of complaints Scroll through their reviews and you’ll see the same story on repeat: patients pressured into the “deep‑cleaning + mouthguard + rinse” bundle, only to be stuck with charges insurance won’t cover. Each time, the clinic hides behind fine print—“you signed the policy”—instead of fixing its practices or taking responsibility. Predatory billing Check Google reviews: they’ll send a $50 no‑show fee straight to collections. That tells you everything about their priorities. OVERALL AVOID THIS PLACE!!

Leah Cotter Dr. Kogan and team are impressive, from the moment I called and Cecilia booked my first appointment to meeting Dr. Kogans assistants Timothy and Chris, to Dr. Kogan himself who I immediately trusted to know what hes doing. First day was for cleaning, assessment, & x-rays. He brought to my attention that one of my old crowns is showing wear and tear with gap that food can get in and cause rot. Also a couple of teeth, one for receding gum that could expose the root and another one that needs filling. It so happened there was a cancellation for the next day and it was offered to me. I am happy I did cause one tooth with receding gum is now fixed and look great even the sensitivity to hot and cold now gone. Looking forward to getting the other filling and crown done next month unless they have a cancellation earlier, I asked Cecilia to contact me. Facility is clean and spa like, hence the name Dental Spa? I highly recommend Dr. Kogan and Team! Im sure you wont regret it.

Michael Harville Ive been going here for about 15 years. Dr. Kogan does good work, works fast, and doesnt push extra stuff you dont need. State-of-the-art equipment, and Ive very rarely had significant discomfort during a visit. The spa treatments are free, and though likely not at the level what youd get at a real spa, theyre still a fun "bonus" usually happening mid-visit while youre in the chair. Highly recommend!

Jennifer Been here 2x already- one for annual exam/cleaning and one for 2 cavity fillings. Both went smoothly and painlessly. Christ Uranga I saw Dr. Huynh for a what I felt was a complicated consultation for some work that I have been putting off for years. It was about my smile and old root canals/crowns. She was so knowledgeable and I felt in great hands. She offered many understandable plans I could decide, practical information, and the reality of each plan. However, all very clear. Then she offered to provide me with some adjustments on the spot that were so small, but meant so much. I cannot say enough about how wonderful this experience was. She is 100% competent and kind. She patiently listened and understood & shared her valuable knowledge and experience. I recommend her highly.

NU I had a terrible experience with Dr. Uyen. Just two weeks after she assured me that all cavities were removed and a crown was placed (costing $2,000), my tooth pain returned. When I requested a redo, she refused and instead told me I needed an additional treatment, which would cost ANOTHER $2,000. I no longer trusted her at all, and I switched to a new dentist. My new dentist was shocked about Dr. Uyens treatment and by how she handled the situation. She is friendly and looks trustable, but I would not recommend her based on my experience.

My bite has never been the same and it’s very uncomfortable when chewing. They will try to convince you to get Invisalign even if you don’t need it. Stay away from this office!

Jeremy Hanika I read the Google reviews and I was not disappointed. Dr. Bubukina and her staff did a fantastic job! Dr. B might just have the fastest hands in the West. She completed six fillings within about 20 minutes and reshaped an old filling that I had done in LA (but was obviously subpar for Dr. B and her team). And after aestheticizing me, I didnt even feel a pinch. Throughout the procedure, Dr. B and her assistant, Jose, were in some kind of rhythm. She then scanned me for Invisalign and showed me a 3D modeling of my teeth, then spent the rest of the time educating me about my bite and whether Invisalign would be a good option for me. I have total trust in Dr. B and cant thank her and her team, including Sheila, Ariana, and Alexis enough for taking such good care of me and my oral health. After two months, the restorations are still going strong. Thank you, Onsite Dental!!! :)

Dr. Keeper is clearly knowledgeable and confident in his methods. The cleaning was quick, there was no scraping involved, and my teeth felt and looked very clean. Dr. Keeper was clearly very knowledgeable and current on dental research. I had not been in for a cleaning in years and Dr. Keeper was totally nonjudgmental. The cleaning was gentle and used a water jet type thing vs. harsh instruments. The view from the office is beautiful as well. Nice to watch sailboats on the bay! Also just to share, my companys Delta Dental plan covered everything I needed during this appointment. Wherever you are in the city, I think its totally worth the trip to see Dr. Keeper.

chelsea wong Update: I visited another dental office, who informed me that I do not need crown filling. Which means Chua Family Dental was trying to sell me services I did not need. They milk their patients like cows for money. Stay away. Original: Absolutely a rip off, my first visit in February, I gave them my insurance info, and kept asking them to only do the services covered by my insurance. I later get a bill of $1200. Turns out they sold me a bunch of exams and casts and services that I didnt want. Over the phone, I asked for the price for a deep cleaning, the reception quoted $600. I did some research before and knew that deep cleaning needs multiple visits to complete, so I ask if that price is total or per visit. She said its per visit. Turns out its per quadrant, so the total is actually $2400!! My second visit in September, I went back for my routine cleaning, and to make a deal that I would like to pay for the services that was covered but I owe co-pay. After some negotiation we reached an agreement for the entire bill of the first visit.
