I first saw Basheer, who did my X-rays. He was extremely kind and reassuring, he absolutely went above and beyond to ensure my comfortably! My mind was immediately eased & everything went smoothly. The staff was welcoming and considerate to the toddlers and children . Walking in was a pleasant experience the atmosphere was children-centered and my son had no problem making use of the activities available while waiting for our appointment. Fair and honest advice (they advocated to wait for a comprehensive service for one our kids when they could have suggested phases of service which would cost more), they are thorough, kind and understanding. He performed oral surgery on me that ended up being much more significant than expected without a hitch and I healed more quickly and thoroughly than I could have dreamt. I have had such a lovely experience that I referred my husband and decided to take my 6.5 year old son instead of continuing with the pediatric dentist. He has the best experience. The staff were all so welcoming and kind toward him. They put on a Disney movie for him to watch and even gave him a juice box to help calm the nerves. He has a very small mouth and Dr. Nasrin was very understand and gentle when doing his X-rays. And to top off the experience he was blown away to find Matchbox car in his after appointment care bag. Thank you for helping him love the dentist!

Heather Hinds Read the bad reviews on Yelp before calling this business. They tell the truth of how this place operates. They must ask for reviews on Google. I started going here because they were a biological dentist. But do your research, there is another one in Roseville that is SO much better and kinder. The bedside manner of the dentists is terrible. They rush you through, dont want to answer questions and have haughty attitude. Their entire office has a better than you attitude. They messed up two of my cleaning exams and dropped the schedule, then wouldnt fit me in for another 6 months. In the meantime, theyd done a huge filling that was giving me a LOT of pain. They looked at it one time and said there was nothing to be done, that their dentist had done the job right. I finally found another biological dentist in Roseville. She is super nice, took time to get to know me and immediately found the problem. I have a crack in the took next to my filling! I believe American Family Dentistry caused this crack when they wedged my teeth to do the filling. When I asked AFD for more information and to speak with the dentist to figure out this issue, I was completely blown off and ignored. It was painful when they wedged and I had not had any pain issues prior to the filling. I also have some bad cavities from teeth they were not monitoring correctly. I am sure them messing up on my appointments and removing them from their system didnt help. As it was a year that I wasnt able to get into them for checkups. If you care about the future of your teeth, find another dentist!!!!

Heather Jefferies No longer a fan of this place, seeking a new dental office as of today. Front desk is hit or miss. When I first called for an appt I was a little taken aback by the attitude of the receptionist but decided to move forward anyway being they’re a holistic practice. That was 5 years ago. Well some things never change… Malia was sending paper bills to my old address that I had not lived at since 2022, and I started receiving outstanding balance emails from her four months after my last visit. When I asked for the statement to be mailed to my correct address all I received was a statement showing “balance forward”$30.00….well it would be nice to see what I was actually being billed for so I reached back out to her. At that point I was told it was for x-rays not covered by my insurance. Okay that’s fair and fine but why the dismissiveness and what is the trouble with actually seeing a breakdown of the billing charges??? I then asked if it would be OK to pay the balance when I came in for my upcoming visit in a couple weeks since I would be paying out of pocket for the services that day. I never received any follow up until two days before my appointment. It was then reiterated that I would be making the payment which I confirmed via a phone call with Malia. As soon as I got to the office, I was told that I could take care of my balance and I would not be seeing the doctor anymore today. I was a little confused and asked for a breakdown of the fees. My balance dropped by $38. I’ve never heard of a $38 dental exam fee and a $97 cleaning fee. Malia then asked if I thought that was too high for a cleaning and I said yes for a “cash” paying customer (even though I put it on my card). I was flustered by her attitude and lack of explanation but once her calculator did the math there was nothing that could be said or done. The hygienist did a lousy job unless I really only truly had tarter between my bottom front teeth. She was also condescending which shows word traveled from the front office to the back that I’m an ‘unruly’ patient of some sort. I could continue on about more unprofessionalism that took place this visit but I will be seeing a good friend of mine for a follow up cleaning in the next few weeks over in Concord and if need be, I will update this review with more information afterwards. I also don’t know why I didn’t get to see the dentist so it’s a good thing I can afford to pay for another cleaning and exam fee now. They are immature, with “elitist” attitudes and 100% unprofessional. The passive aggressiveness is unfathomable! Please don’t give this office your money!!!
