Nina J Katie is my go to for my lash fit. She is very personable and gentle. Ive always had a good experience with her. Also, I had great cut and blow dry done by Sophia. My hair is curly and she gave me a cut that looks great curly or straightened out. She was also very sweet and fun to talk to. Definitely recommend both of these ladies!

Julie Bradley Such a cute salon and location! Great atmosphere and price points. Had a "High Maintenance" haircut with Sophia. She delivered exactly what I wanted since I like to keep my hair low maintenance. Great hairstylist and love her personality!

Dana Nguyen Ive visited this hair salon twice now, and both experiences have been incredibly positive. As someone who struggles with anxiety, finding a comfortable environment is crucial for me, and this salon truly delivers. The staff is understanding and supportive, making sure I feel at ease throughout my appointments. Not only do they provide excellent hair services, but they also go above and beyond to ensure their clients comfort. I highly recommend this salon to anyone, especially those with anxiety or nervousness about getting their hair done.

Donna Koepsell I cant believe the difference in the before and after using the LED machine and Introstem product. I cant quit looking in the mirror. And Rice was so knowledgable in skin care so nice. Looking forward to going out tonight. Unbelievable but it works. If your in Monterey, make sure to stop and ask for Rice and see the difference for yourself.

Alexis Zenk Lola spa is the best place on Cannery Row! They have tons of organic, cute soaps, that make for great gifts. The manager Rice is the nicest ladies in the building. She is so sweet and is always taking care of me and my mom when we come in.

Missy Kay SCAM ALERT!! BUYER BEWARE!! Lola Soap Cannery Row / Monterey AKA Lilly Beauty Spa. They have multiple locations using different names as well. NO REFUNDS! DON’T PROVIDE ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION…AND DON’T SIGN ANYTHING, ESPECIALLY ON A TABLET…IT’S A TRAP!! You are signing a “NO REFUND” CONTRACT clause. Lola/Lilly will NOT give you a REFUND and you will lose any dispute with your Credit Card company! Lola/Lilly has an “F” rating on BBB with multiple unanswered complaints. Search “Lola Soap BBB Complaints” to find BBB complaints and negative Yelp Reviews. My experience happened at LOLA / Lilly Beauty Spa in Cannery Row/Monterey on 3/26/23-3/27/23. Let me state that my friend was with me on both days, so I have a witness to my experience. 1) False claims – Rosie said the Introstem eye cream ($299+) was a 2 year supply and the results would last 5-7 days per application. FALSE! The eye cream worked instantly in the store, but the puffiness returned 6-8 hours later. Then you find out later about the “No Refunds” policy. I get better results from Preparation H or baking soda. 2) No Upfront Pricing – The price is a moving target depending on how much you resist. 3) NO REFUNDS!! This is a high end retail store with no refunds. At NO point in this entire transaction did Rice mention a “no refund” policy. She waited until we were about to leave, to slip the receipt(s) into the bag versus handing the receipts to us directly. This seemed like a further attempt to obscure the “no refund” policy, which is printed at the bottom of the receipt(s). 4) I found out about the “No refund” policy when trying to return the infrared device and unopened creams within 24 hours of purchase. Rice asked for my receipt and pointed to the bottom of the receipt which stated “no refunds, exchanges within 14 days”. We also then discovered ONE small sign stating “No Refunds” HIDDEN BEHIND A PLANT. 5) Lack of Customer Service – When I tried to get my refund, Rice became unprofessional and lost all sense of customer service. Since Rice refused to resolve the issue, I left the product on the counter. So now I no longer have the product, nor do I have a refund. Rice called the owner while we were in the store, but did not let me speak to him. I emailed him, but he never responded back. He has even gone so far as to deny that I am a customer of Lola/Lilly. The actual storefront is “Lola Soap” but is operating as “Lilly Beauty”. 6) No Copy of “Contract/Refund Policy”. I asked Rice multiple times for a copy of the paperwork I filled out. She dismissed my concerns saying I would get the paperwork via email. Lola never sent me any paperwork. WARNING! DON’T FILL OUT ANY FORMS, ESPECIALLY ON A TABLET. You are consenting to the “No Refund” policy. You will lose a credit card dispute by signing. 7) USED DEVICE - Rice HERSELF opened a NEW device and handed it to me while I was in the store…so that it became a “used” item. Then to fight my credit card dispute, Lola stated that “I” opened the device. FALSE! 8) Bait and Switch – When Rice opened the NEW infrared device and handed it to me, my friend and I both realized it was NOT the same one used in the demonstration. Rice dismissed our concerns, saying it was a better version. 9) No Written Warranty – The infrared device supposedly worth $10,000+ has NO WARRANTY…and NO REFUNDS When asked about a warranty, Rice said not to worry, they will take care of any issues. If the product is good, they should be able to offer a written warranty AND refunds. Even infrared devices bought on Amazon for $200 offer warranties and refunds! 10) Rice indicated that I had to be approved for credit PRIOR to telling me the price of the device. I thought she was running a credit check. I didn’t realize that I was actually opening a CareCredit/Synchrony Back credit card. 11) Solicit Review – Before leaving the store, Rice wanted me to write a review. I declined and I’m glad I did. Now, all I can do is try to warn others to stay away!

Gia I was so impressed with the haircut I received! These ladies did such an amazing job! I got bangs again for the first time in forever so I was very nervous but I put my faith in the right people. Seriously happy with what I got. The price of a womens haircut is also super affordable and worth it. The ladies there just do a super nice job and are really nice themselves.

Sara Sorci Steele Ashley is kind and welcoming from the beginning to the end. She is great at communication to coordinate scheduling. And, she really takes time to talk with you about your ideas to provide the best services. Her science for hair is sound and she provides me great dry curl cuts every time. My hair looks and feels amazing whenever I leave. Always happy to make another appointment with her when I’m ready and never feel pressured by her to make the follow ups.

Aiyana Thomas Parvin did a fantastic job on my hair. She did multiple sessions of bleach and toner to bring it from an orange color to a great blonde color. She really takes her time and cares about the client.

Laura Rinklef Top notch service. Mayra did my hair on several occasions and every time she surprises me with a magical transformation. She works with skill and professionalism and never disappoints. Thank you!

Lorrie Stewart Simpson Rosa did an excellent job cutting my long hair into short layers well still leaving enough for a ponytail(because I have to wear my hair up at work, this also feels wonderful for the summer since I live in central California and we are in the high 90s this time of the year.

sammy trebotich The lady there was super rude since I was a walk in. She didnt seem to actually want my money. I told her my basic haircut and she slaughtered my head. Worst haircut Ive had in years. Uneven lines, a lot of long hairs left behind the ears and back of my head. And she paid no attention to the hair style I told her I get. Go find a super cuts or Great Clips.

Justin White The best haircuts Ive ever received on the west coast. Im pretty sure Red (the owner) can do anything when it comes to hair. Ive come into the shop with an absolutely jacked up fro, and Red fixed me up right away. I was looking so good someone actually gave me their number later on that night. If youre trying to get a cut here, Red takes walk ins until about 2pm most days. I HIGHLY recommend coming here if you need to be fixed!

Renee Concentine Red has been doing my husband & son’s hair for years. She is professional, very talented but the best part is she refused to raise costs during trying times because she really cares about her customers! Go see her. Any cut, any type of hair.

Angelica Johnson- Dávila WARNING: If you are willing to receive non-stop compliments and head turning attention, then letting Amy work on you is the right way to go. Amy will make you look like an absolute goddess! She did my eyebrows and nails. Within 6 hours after leaving her salon my husband damn near re-married me, my colleague booked with her minutes after examining my nails and noticing the great quality of them and at one point I had to slap my sisters hand away because she was mesmerized and kept trying to touch my perfectly waxed eyebrows. I am telling you right now! Her work is professional and prudent, it definitely shows in the quality and results. So if you book with Amy be ready to look like a 5 star meal, irresistible. Youve been warned.

Isabella Hoang I got a hair cut here and my stylist was Brianna, the outcome was amazing! I came in here with very damaged hair, since I didn’t get trims and let my hair grow out for 2 years. The transformation was absolutely amazing!! I also decided to get bangs and I’m in love with my new hair! I would definitely recommend coming to Prim to get your hair done. All the stylists are nice and respectful. I added a before and after picture of my hair to show the huge change, my hair looks and feels healthier than ever

Anna Marie Its a little pricey if youre used to Great Clips and the like, although those places are notching up prices as well. My stylist was friendly, practical and helpful. She answered my questions and was able to work with my lazy directions. She made me look great, cut the hair to the perfect length, and was very gentle with my somewhat delicate scalp. Ill definitely go back.

Liz and her team immediately helped me. Im someone who is already uncomfortable being the center of spotlight and was worried about hair and makeup. Their team helped me feel confident and beautiful. Truly so appreciative

Tina C Their hair and make up team flew all the way to New York for my wedding in 2019. They serviced all 10 of my bridesmaids and a few family members whom all had great things to say about them afterwards. I still use their services today in 2024 through milestones such as baby showers and holiday events. They are professional, personable, and amazing at what they do. I definitely recommend bridal trials before the big day because you can discuss what you like and didnt like so they can listen to you and offer their expertise and make corrections until youre happy with the results! I even slept on my hair and touched up a little after my bridal trial and got married the next day in SF City Hall for papers with a small handful of friends and family. Lydia did my makeup, and Marissa did my hair. I was just looking back at my wedding photos today and realized my review was long overdue. Its so important to have a good hair and makeup team for your special day. Their artistry will last a lifetime through our photos! Thank you Blush Monterey!

Ashleigh Rhind Nestor and Diana are the absolute best team around. They made me feel so so beautiful and I still felt like myself. I am so so pleased with the work that they did. I cannot recommend them enough. I have never looked so good. The Blush team in general was so helpful and they were so amazing with taking care of my bridesmaids, mom, and mother in law. Everyone was so happy with their look and could not stop staring at themselves in the mirror. We were ready ahead of schedule and we also didnt have to start at the crack of dawn which everyone greatly appreciated. Thank you so much!

Maui Rat Dina is so good, I travel from Santa Rosa, CA to have my hair done. Started going to her about 10 years ago when I lived in that area, now I won’t go anywhere but to her. She knows what I want and only have to make appointment and show up.
