Tawnee Kendall Sraddha is THE BEST for waxing. I get Brazilians done from her and shes quick, thorough, gentle - and has such an amazing presence that I never feel weird or awkward. We have amazing conversations and I look forward to seeing her on a regular basis. Ive also brought my children in to have haircuts from her and shes so wonderful with them. My daughters have wavy and curly hair and Sraddha has all the things for kids haircuts like prizes afterwards, booster seats, and cute haircutting capes. Sraddha is such a treat and I highly recommend her to everyone.

Jodi La Chance Sraddha does an amazing job cutting and styling my hair! I have long, curly hair which can be unruly and difficult to work with, but she always makes my hair look fantastic. She is skilled and consistent. I highly recommend her!

Ren Staub I had my first hair cut from Amanda Rachelle about a year ago. She listened to what I wanted and delivered beyond my expectations. Not only a great looking cut, but a great looking cut with longevity. It grew out beautifully and would have looked good a year later if my ratty split ends didnt spur me back for another cut. Once again, I am very pleased with my haircut. Amanda is also a talented stylist: I had her do my hair for a music performance and she made me look like a absolute rock star- once again exceeding my expectations. I cannot recommend Hayr Rachelle enough! Great services, friendly professional manners and a clean comfortable salon space.

Yerasette Robles Had my hair cut done by Rachelle today. She gave me good recommendations for the health of my hair. She understood and met all the expectations I wanted for my long hair. She gave me long layers and face framing without cutting much hair which I loved. There was never an awkward moment with her, she was very welcoming to my boyfriend and I, definitely going back and would recommend her to everyone.

Melissa P Made a special trip based on website description. Very, very limited selection, lovely, friendly receptionist but she really didnt seem like a hair professional, not quite sure what full purpose of this location is. They had a few wigs, all for a very specific look and ethnicity, staff didnt really know product ingredients other then sales pitch, really poor lighting where I tried wig on and just not the experience, selection or education I went for. Looked up the wig I purchased online and seems like I was also over-charged? Wouldve been nice to have an actual hairdresser available to help with selection. Also didnt love that my credit card was carbon-copied.

Megan I usually do a blunt cut and I have fine hair. Michelle recommend I add some layers to give me more texture and volume. I love it! I basically look like Jennifer Aniston only hotter and younger. My hair looks like it has body and she only took off what was necessary to give me healthy looking hair as I am trying to grow it out. Kathy McLean Michelle did a great job on my COVID hair. I hadnt had a cut in at least 8 months and had home colored my hair during the pandemic. She expertly fixed the coloring problem and hydrated my dry hair. Even my husband loved the result. My hair is soft, naturally colored and beautifully cut. Thank you , Michelle. Hair, nails, facials and now, Cryo toning and facial treatments can be provided by a wonderful staff of experts. The salon is in a sweet little farmhouse and the decor is equally as sweet. My favorite hair stylist is Michelle V.

On top of that, the shop talk was top-tier—fun, engaging, and exactly what you’d hope for in a classic barbershop experience. All around, an outstanding visit. Linda C Rose I have been going to Barbara Sidebottom for over 15 years. She dies not double book her appointments so shes almost always ready for me by my appointment time. On the rare occasions she hasnt been ready was when the earlier client was late, but the wait time for me has never over 5 minutes. Over the years, I have had different styles and have been happy with the results every time. She is always joyful and happy.

Donald Costa I moved to Grass Valley two years ago and was lucky enough to find Darcy for my barber soon after. She is a local gal, fun to talk to, and does a great cut for a fair price. She is now open again with the new covid 19 requirements in place.

Amber Theresa is hands down the best stylist in Nevada County. She takes time to listen to what your hair goals are and works with you to make you look fabulous. Her salon provides a super relaxed atmosphere that everyone is welcome in. Her prices are very reasonable as well. Everytime I am back home in GV I make an appointment for a cut and color, she is that good.

DreadPirates! Every time I’ve gone to this location they’ve spoiled my hair, I don’t think I will go back. I’ve had to get several adjustment haircuts just to fix the damage they’ve already done. I wouldn’t recommend going to this spot, it may be more in your interest to search for a barber or stylist in the future. The photo below is my hair in recovery I only hope my hairline can look normal again.

Momma Bear Sara Trier for most all hair needs! Great eye for art , color styles! Desiree great for all ages cuts. And senior citizen perms. Both ladies are great with kids and toddlers .

CJ Cunningham Just had my hair cut by Jenn and very satisfied. The best part of the experience is that Jenn actually listened to how I wanted my hair cut and did it. A lot of Barbers/Stylists just picture how they think your hair should be cut and even though they seem to be listening to you they are not hearing you. Will return and hope to have Jenn cut my hair.
