Brittany Butler My first experience at la boutique was so good that I immediately got the membership. Excellent customer service, attention to detail and such a relaxing environment that oozes self care. Krystle is my aesthetician and my skin has flourished under her. She educates me about products and my routine and she is just so down to earth. Ive also went to Josie a few times and shes great as well. You really cant go wrong with anyone here because they are all knowledgeable and really want to help you get the results you want.

Debbie Pacheco DAgostin La Boutique is my favorite go to place for all of my aesthetic needs! I love their membership option because I can use my credit for any of their services. Ive had my lashes done here and they come out looking gorgeous each time book Jhennifer!! Facials by Krystal are a dream! Its such a lovely experience. I feel like they really know how to deep clean and they have lots of high tech devices. I think everyone should come here!

Chloe Kirkpatrick The staff were friendly and the salon is clean. However I got the worst lash and brow tint I have ever had. It looked ok when I left but it completely faded after TWO DAYS. I should get at least 3 weeks out of this for what I paid. The method they used was also bizarre. Usually the brow dye is wet, but it felt like she just put eye shadow on them. They also don’t wipe off the dye from your lashes while you’re there, they just send you out in the world and say don’t get them wet for 24 hours. Usually they put it on for like 10-20 min and then wipe it off and you’re good to go. On top of all that, you have to pay extra for them to do your bottom lashes. Wtf is that about?? I will not be returning.

Angela Van Gilder WARNING ⚠️ INEXPERIENCED I’ve decided to repost my review because the amount of money I have had to pay to repair my hair is MORE than what I paid for services. In September I came in and told the owner I have fragile hair and only use Wella or Lanza to lift because it doesn’t dry my hair. She assured me her Italian products were just as gentle. Her products FRIED my hair…..now 3 months later no amount of keratin or oil treatments has been able to smooth out the damage or repair it…..I am going to have cut off most of my hair!!! You can see if you look closely the white streaks in my hair!!! This is because for the entire hour she had the product on my hair she did NOT check my hair once to see how it was processing even though she sat 15 feet from the the whole time. So I have streaks of platinum blonde in my hair along with my hair just being totally fried. THE COLOR IS TOTALLY UNEVEN! She DID NOT use a toner. I’ve spent more than the $200 that was refunded to me in an attempt to heal my hair to NO AVAIL! My hair has just continued to fall out……… Don’t risk it folks no one should still be suffering 3 months later from damage like this!!! If you have fragile hair DO NOT COME HERE!!

S Durkin Hands down best haircut I’ve ever had. Connie listened to what look I was going for and we talked about what a haircut should make you feel. The best part- I have curly hair and the grow out has stayed just as fresh as the day she cut it! During my cut she kept me up to date on the newest looks from top fashion, how good the last book she read was and how she finds/selects the gorgeous products in the front. We browsed through the fantastic curated vintage and she styled me in the coolest outfit for pictures. Connie has an amazing eye and iconic taste. You can see it immediately when you walk in and will always find something new to drool over. I left with the perfect hairspray for my type of curly hair and a cut that’s lasted.

Ann Finegan Wow this order came super fast. A day early. Ordered based on friend recommendation and can say one application gave my aching thumb relief. Love a company that communicates well and goes above and beyond.

Liam Tran The staff here are great and friendly, and I got a decent haircut. However, I would not recommend coming here for a perm, especially for men. The products and equipment seem outdated, and they dont appear to have much experience with mens perms. I paid $200, which definitely wasnt worth it in my opinion. My hair ended up barely curly—just wavy—which wasnt what I had asked for.

Toni McMorris Excellent hair salon. Friendly, professional and skilled hair dressers. Price extremely reasonable. They did fabulous highlights for me, very natural looking and cut perfectly. Will definitely come back again in the future. They also cut men, women and children’s hair.

Renee Reed I came to Jenifer with a complete mess. My roots had been growing in for a year and there was a harsh cut off between my natural color and the blonde. The blonde I did have was yellow and brassy. Jenifer did a sort of balayage to fade my natural in with the blonde. She also toned my hair to make it look less orange/yellow. In addition to fixing my color, she gave me the best hair cut of my life and layered my hair perfectly how I wanted. Highly recommend!

Karen Allen Transformation accomplished!! Aric took me from played out brassy orange tones to beautiful icy balayage beach bombshell were down to earth, hospitable, kind and made me feel at home immediately. Highly recommend this salon and the magical, incredibly knowledgeable and talented Aric.

Julie Costa Aric did my hair today and he did exactly what I asked for. This was the first time I got my hair dyed and LOVED it. Hes a very nice man and is very professional. He aims to make the client happy. I will definitely be returning to him for future hair care.

Barb Hale I went to Aric to let my hair go grey. I had no idea how to do this but he sure did. He removed the color from my hair over a marathon session and added highlights to blend my grey and wowza! I was not expecting my hair to look at amazing as he made it look. I absolutely adore not coloring my roots every 4 weeks and my hair is stunning. I am 6 months out and only have had one touchup on highlights in that time. He is a magician!

Christine Su Jacob Andrade is so incredibly talented. He specializes in repairing color damage and rescued my hair from faded blue-green and box dye. The best and most natural (as natural as purple can get) highlights Ive ever had. Found Jacob through a friend who has the best highlights I know, and now hes my secret too. I wont be leaving Jacob!

Emily Bao is the absolute best if you have Asian hair and are looking to go blonde! He does amazing haircuts too!!

alexa daley Came for eyebrow threading. I’m not saying she’s not skilled but she has very rigid perception of what is “beautiful“. I appreciate she asked preferences but almost feels worse than not being asked at all when she refuses to take them into account if it doesn’t align with her personal opinion . Unfortunately this resulted in months of me looking in the mirror and not liking what I saw. Ultimately, I understand a stylist’s experience and opinion should valued, but they are not the person who has to live with the result, and there should be some component of compromise.

Sophia Su Great service! Super easy to book an appointment by calling. Very friendly upon arrival. Very meticulous with their threading and you can tell they really take their time with client. Stopping multiple times to check the shape and length of the brow to ensure optimal results. Also very gentle when threading which is always a plus - especially since I have sensitive skin. Make sure to bring your own mask otherwise they do charge you for one. Would recommend to others!

Natalie Katz Jasmine did an excellent job with my brows. Shes very detail oriented and made sure to find a shape that works for both brows. I was lucky she had a cancellation and could walk in, but she said they normally do appointment only. Keep in mind they require a booster.

Will Martin Great salon in Japantown, the best haircuts I’ve ever had have been from here! I’ve had different stylists each time I’ve gone with great results, will definitely be coming back next time. And bonus points, they also have a super cute dog named ringo :D

Iwatatheplants Loved getting my haircut here!! Yuka gave me the best haircut I’ve had in awhile. She patiently listened to everything I wanted and delivered. One of the biggest issues I’ve had with my hair is how thick it is and she thinned it perfectly. 10/10 haircut and will be coming back again!

oscar The sign at the entrance said “walk-ins welcome,” so I went in and waited near the front. Several staff members saw me sitting there, but no one approached. After about 20 minutes, I asked if I could get a seat, and was told there were no available spots for the day. There was no apology or prior notice. It would have been helpful to indicate this clearly at the entrance to avoid confusion. Unfortunately, the experience left a poor impression, and I don’t plan to return.

Grace Mauberret Excellent hair cut and root touch up, very precise cut with great attention to detail. The stylist was friendly and attentive . The location is very convenient and at a reasonable cost. A+!

After each session, my husband has even started capturing his hairs post-cut perfection in photos, proudly displaying them to hairdressers back in India. Maggies talent is simply remarkable, matched only by her humility and kindness. In all our years, weve never come across someone as gifted and down-to-earth as Maggie. A visit to her is a promise of not just a haircut, but a wonderful experience. As someone whos never felt the urge to write reviews before, I was so moved by Maggies skill, demeanor, and approach that I had to ask my son if there was a way for me to share this with the world. And here I am, fulfilling that intention at 65.

Elezovic Kemal (Zumba With Kemal) I usually see Celina, and she is amazing and quick. Tried other stylists, and they are all good. The price of $25 is great. They are very clean. Even the bathroom is beautiful and clean. Keep up the good work! Just had another great cut today.

Victoria Yau The salon is clean and has a fast turnover, so i appreciate that my appointments always start and end on time. This review is specially for Ethan~ he’s been doing my hair for the last 3+ years and he’s awesome. He has such a positive spirit and genuinely cares about how you feel and want to look walking out of the salon. I have so much hair (thick and long hair) and he somehow always manages to finish on time and leaves me looking polished. He knows my “go-to” blowout style but always welcomes one-off ideas when I have a specific event i need to tailor my look for. Go book a blowout with Ethan and you won’t regret it!

Genève Campbell Posh is a standard salon that’s also a high-traffic blowout bar. I’ve gotten special occasion blowouts here occasionally for years (never with the same stylist twice) but this review is really only about Ethan. He is a wizard. So glad I found him!

Sarah P. I love the fact I can book a blow dry same day and rely on this salon when I need to get something done. It can be hit or miss with the stylist though, sometimes they’re exceptional, other times I found I have to be very specific or I walk out with a style that just isn’t there. Some stylists are on point and others, less so. Their products are great and their prices within the scope of a blow dry salon in SF.

michael misch I enjoy Yukis salon. Not only her skills as a beautician, but also her warm, caring personality. Its interesting to see her clientele as well. And I always forget her buddy who does manicure and pedicure. I think her name is Han? but Im not sure. I strongly advise trying Sunset Salon.

Amanda Yuki and Hoang are THE BEST. GREAT Service and great pricing. I went in with my family for 3 pedicures, 2 haircuts, and a manicure. While it is a small salon, they are great in managing it all. The care they both took for their regulars that came in and for the new customers that also stopped by. This is my family’s newest regular salon for self care. Bonus: they are super funny and full of life!

Tuane Quintella Loved my haircut with John! I have natural wavy hair but it gets heavy and dull when it doesnt have a proper haircut. John understood quickly what I wanted and did a great haircut that brought a lot of life and volume to my curls. I loved it! I also got my nails done by Linh who did a beautiful job and has a delightful personality. Color Block is my go-to salon in the Sunset now :)

anastasia yang My FAV place to go for my hair. I have been here 3 times now and the owners, John & Linh, always do a fantastic job with my hair! Each time they were able to give me exactly what i wanted from the inspo pictures i shared and quality service. Finding a hair stylist who you can trust is hard, but they make it very easy!

Phantazmagoria I could sue this person for ruining my modeling career. Made horrible choices and left me with horrible permanent after effects including an obvious bald spot. Spending $1300 on hair growth injections, weeks of sadness, I have to look at this bald spot every day, and spending lots of $ and DAMAGE and wasted so much time on Olaplex treatments and unsuccessful attempts to remove the color gently, now color correction, to remove the horrid ugly permanent dye which left permanent orange and brown dark stains when I previously had beautiful pure pale yellow healthy hair and I asked for purple and red deposit only semi permanent vibrant colors and NO DAMAGE. I have spent so many days suffering and I hate this person for not taking the time to read my messages or research the basics of preventing damage/keeping strong developer off the scalp when I said I wanted deposit-only color without damage. He didnt think at all nor ask questions. Ruined my life in a 30 minute window

Leah Spero Paul at Bijoux Salon does a fantastic job every single time! Ive been with him for over 15 years and dont know what I would do without him. My daughters and mom go to him, too, and he really listens to what each individual client wants, talks through the options, and makes it perfect. He is also such a good-hearted, friendly, funny person, and I always love seeing him. The salon is relaxing, and Paul always has good tunes playing. Cant recommend him enough.

Christine F Bijoux is amazing and so is Paul! Ive been getting my hair cut by Paul for nearly 15 years and I cant recommend him more, especially for curly hair cuts. The space is relaxing and beautifully designed, and the team at Bijoux always makes you feel welcome.

Jana Klass Bijoux salon is a clean and beautifully designed salon right in the heart of SF. The picture windows offer the best scenic view and location is conveniently located. They always have beautiful plants to enjoy, excellent hair products for purchase, and new and innovative art on the walls featuring local artists. The owner, Paul, has been doing my hair for years. He is a master of his craft! My cuts and color are always perfect. He always has great, fresh ideas to update my look but at the same time listens to what I like (and what makes me feel best!) He is so funny and engaging… and gives the most relaxing shampoo. The salon always has fresh water and treats… a true self care experience!

Anna Gwin Really lovely hair salon, Ruth fixed my haircut into some beautiful bangs after I messed them up at home. She somehow knew exactly what to do even though I couldnt figure out what I wanted. Mary is also very kind and warm. The prices are affordable, especially for SF, but dont be fooled - the haircuts are top quality.

Sydney Zamb Gave me a pretty bad haircut, with very choppy layers, so that my hair looks stringy at the ends. Also, did not use heat protectant when blow drying my hair. It was not the owner Mari but someone else who cut my hair. Will wear my hair up for the next few months and go somewhere else to get it recut. Unfortunate, because this place had great reviews.

Gina Guido Ive known the owner Luis since 1998. I love the way he does my hair, he knows what you want. Also Benjamin does a wonderful job. Bottom line... I highly recommend this place...

I first went to Kelly to start my curly shag journey, and she gave me some lovely curtain bangs. It was my first cut in almost 3 years since I was so careful and meticulous about finding a new hairdresser after moving to SF. Once I was comfortable with the change, I went back to her and asked her to give me the full curly bang experience!! Kelly absolutely slayed it and handled me with so much care. Maria Burch Yesterday, I had a great experience at Oro Salon SF. Kelly is truly talented with hair styles, and she was just the person I needed for a nice haircut and beautiful blow out. As a tired mom I hardly have time for self care, but my experience yesterday inspired me to do more of it. Алина I was looking through a few downtown San Francisco salons. For some reason I kept coming back in to this one in my research. Can’t thank enough this place. I’m so glad I gave it a try. Brittany at Duboce location was incredible. She is precisely qualified what I was looking for and made it happen after 4,5 hours. I’m so happy with my balayage blonde color, quality and professional skills I’ve been indulged in. Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for coloring or haircut in a creative way in San Francisco.
