Egypt Hemby Always a fantastic experience at Star Nails!! The staff is always so welcoming, kind, up to date with techniques and very thorough with their creative processes. I’ve been coming here for years with my mum to see Helen; the owner, and her incredible staff shine! You won’t be disappointed! Definitely check them out! :) They’re open Monday-Saturday!

Andrea Suarez Great Customer Service! I took my mother whom is in a nearby rehab to get a pedicure, the staff helped me transfer her to the spa machine and back into her wheelchair! They made sure my mother was comfortable and wish her a speedy recovery! I cannot recommend this place enough! Friendly staff, clean tools, exceptional hospitality! Will definitely be going back!

Nhi Got my nails and lashes done here by Delilah and she did an amazing job! She is truly an artist and all I had to do was show her a photo of what I wanted and she did the rest. The final result came out better than the picture I showed her. I can’t keep staring at my nails and have gotten so many compliments. Will surely be back!

Andrea Casella I hadn’t been back to Nails by Vicky in a long time. I was just so happy to see they reopened and that I will be seeing some familiar faces Vicky, Delilah, and of course, Vincent. I had a special experience getting a pedicure. Great detail given to the pedicure plus wonderful conversation and a lively warm feeling just being in the presence of these people. I will continue to always go back to Nails by Vicky. Everyone should try them and Vicky herself does amazing creative manicures. Just check out her pictures. HD Beauty Bar I love this place so much! Their service and work is exceptional!! They are so into their beautiful work that I can feel really safe when I do any service here, especially when it comes to nail design, lashes and brows Lamination as well as facial! The vibe is relaxing and calm, I feel like a VIP here because they only book with appointment! Highly recommended

Brown Jenny First time getting my nails done here! Thought I would give them a shot!seeing that its a hole in the wall? I kind of already knew... when I got there woman was by herself did it okay job then next thing you know a week later my nails start lifting. went in to ask them can you fix for free? give you nothing but attitude not very friendly I advise you not to go there.

Kathy Nguyen Tina is AMAZING!! I’ve been going to her for over 10 years now and I have yet to find someone with such mastery in the craft. I love getting manicures with her since my nails always come out so clean and perfect after. I also get my eyebrows waxed as she makes the process so smooth and painless. I always leave the salon with my nails and eyebrows on fleek! Love the atmosphere as well, it’s a very lively, spacious, and friendly atmosphere.

Bimbola Omisile I’ve been coming here for over 10 years and they always do a great job. They have free soda and snacks and even give you 10% off if you pay cash. I get the deluxe spa pedicure from Tina every time and it never disappoints and lasts very long.

Kim Ngo Fantastic nail salon! Not only will your nails be perfectly manicured, massaged and cleaned but I have made friends with the customers and have had the best conversations with the nail techs. The owner provides a great customer service, offering water, Vietnamese iced coffee and charm. They also have the cutest kids’ spa chairs for a special occasion. Come here for your biweekly spa day!

Phi Lanina Got my nails almost four weeks ago- gel french tips- and they are still in tact throughout a multi country trip in Asia! The owner also gave me sweet lunar new year treats while i was there and the girl who did my nails was meticulous and checked with me to make sure the french tip was a length i liked

Amy Conway I wanted to love this place as much as everyone else. The woman that gave me my pedi did an excellent job. However, the woman who did my nails rushed, didnt you cuticle cream, my nail corners were not filed smoothy and did a very poor job of applying the gel, it was uneven, had some bubbles, abd was on my cuticles. I complained only to have it "fixed" to the same status. Then my I went for my bikini wax! The curtains had gaps open to the salon, employees were walking in and out for supplies being exposed to customers. Then then a wax was applied abd the woman was pulling it off bit by bit. It was extremely painful. I kept telling her to STOP and pushing her hands away. She then pushed my hands away telling me to let her finish. She was not using the proper wax. I had to tell her what to do. I had to tell her to use powder, and to change thr wax and use strips. The then said "oh easier". Im burnt and missing some skin. Oh, by the end of the day my gel nails are flaking off. A waste of $155.00

Darrell Rodriquez Mindy is a very good nail technician with gel-x services. She always pays attention to every detail and enthusiastically advises me on suitable nail designs. The salon always offers water when customers enter, creating a feeling of care and comfort.

Lark Masluk Lovely mani-pedi experience, and I chose the most simple option for both. Needed a natural look to go with my Galadriel costume for a Halloween party, and very happy with the outcome. Same color for toes and fingers - I believe it looks like a warmer pink on my toes because the skin is more pale, but I did get gel for the fingers and regular for the toes so maybe that made a difference? I think the color was 058, in case that helps anyone :)

Sonja Nichols This place was awesome! We had 6 of us for a mix of Manis and pedicures and all the ladies were amazing! Everyone left happy and relaxed! Kim did my nails and she did a wonderful job at giving me cute nails for my vacation. Wish this place was in Utah so I could be a regular.

Melissa Ramirez Ive now been going to Lavender Nails for quite some time now and the customer service and quality of the mail work has always been consistent. Im always happy to come here, as you feel like its your neighborhood friendly bar/pub where everyone knows your name and you can just relax & unwind. I love that Kim always helps me select the right colors for my hands and feet, she knows exactly what I am in the mood for that day. I see that there have been recent reviews of folks complaining about the pricing. Well, you get what you pay for and if you want quality nail work , it will cost more to have your nails done with expertise precision, skill and care. Please do your yourself a favor and swing by Lavender Nails for all of your manicure/pedicure needs!

Qiana Brown I got my nails done here for the first time and was very disappointed. My nails were shaped wrong and were falling off by the next day. I came back that week to get them fixed and they asked me who did my nails and when I told them they proceeded to laugh. The manager was rude and also upset but she fixed my nails and they did look way better than when the First Lady did them which I did appreciate. I also saw the manager did steps that the First Lady did not do. The energy was very off and they made me wait a long time even though I made an appointment. I don’t plan to ever go back and I don’t recommend this place for black people either because I do believe they are racist.

N RACIST! DO BUSINESS ELSEWHERE! I got into a car accident at the Ximeno/Atherton intersection and the person that hit me was a white woman in a Tesla. The women of the nail salon inserted themselves into my business while I was CALMLY and POLITELY asking the white woman for her license and insurance (all on video) and hid her from me inside of their salon because she refused to give me her information. They did this because shes white and Im a brown person of color. They were pointing and laughing while doing it as well.

Corinne Ingalla Christine is great! Her attention to detail is wonderful. My nails can go 3–4 weeks without any breakage. She just called work! I got these nails done for a wedding I’m in. She’s a sweetest! Got my toes does by LeeLee. Great work! She gives an awesome leg and foot massage.

Katie Hafkenscheid I have been coming for a few years. Mai & Lily are my go to’s. Instead of weekly fills or fix, i can go 2-3 weeks before needing a fill. Very happy with the service. Friendly employees as well.

Lindsay Guillon Several generations of women in my family have gone to this nail salon. Always friendly faces working and great value for the price paid. I usually get a gel mani and paraffin wax pedicure, but they have many other options available, and waxing too. Highly recommend making an appointment for multiple people visiting together.

Patrice Sandhu Did a brilliant job! Was finally able to get the right shape and length that I wanted. Tina did my nails; did not get the name of the lady who did my pedicure but they both look great! Also the massage was very nice - I am a tense/stiff person and felt super relaxed afterwards.

Mickey OMG,OMG, OMG….. try the new Relaxing Services Sauna Spa at Eva’s Nails Spa it’s Amazing the sauna spa helps with blood circulation and if you work standing or walking for long periods of time this treatment no more sore muscles or aching feet I try this services and I was amazed oh how professional was perform and how good it felt it’s so amazing….. and it’s affordable Ellen is really Awesome and professional

prudence maae The reason why I would HIGHLY recommend Evas Nails and Spa place is because not only that its filled with great, wonderful, welcoming stylists, they are comedians! They will surely make sure you are alright, having a pleasant time and always make sure you are not starving. They are kind human beings who will get things done and get you right. If you need a makeover on your nails, this place will have your back and stomach!

Susannah Holiman I came into town (from out of state) for a day with my sisters. Eva’s Nail Salon was able to get us in with no problem! We made a reservation for 3 people. When we came in there were only 2 nail artists available to work on us: Ellen and Sushi! We all got gel nails (such a great price at $30). What would have made our experience better? Having a 3rd nail artist available at the time of our appointment as opposed to just getting started after my sisters had finished. Sushi and Ellen were very fun to talk to and they made our experience a good one. They made it a point to talk to us as opposed to just talking to each other (which is what I’ve experienced elsewhere). This salon also has punch cards that go towards discounts on a service! Get your nails done here- you won’t regret it!!

Tatiana Palomares Best nail spot in Long Beach. I’ve been going here for over 10 years. They always provide the best service, they are affordable, and my nails always last a long time. I’ve tried other nail salons in the city but AP nails is the best. I’ve gotten acrylics, gel, and dip. They do it all and they do it well.

Marianne Gutierrez First time here and will be coming back again. Great experience, was a walk in and was attended to quickly. I got the nails I had been dreaming of, thank you Jenny. My eyebrows were a mess and they fixed them. Ive been to fancy places and sometimes they use wax that smells like chocolate or whatever, but that always makes me break it out. Not this time, brows werent bright red and angry. This place isnt close to where I live, but Ill be coming back because of the excellent service

Bruna Bulinckx Pedicure was good but the service on my gel x was very low quality. They dont have the pre-shaped coffin gel x tips so the shaping was off. Turned out to be more of square shaping. Gel application was too thick, uneven, and lumpy in some spots. Showed the lady a picture of dark red nails and she wanted to put dark purple instead. Tried this place one other time and decided to give a second chance but disappointed both times and will not be returning.

Sanni M omg yesterday I went with my friend to get my hair done since they were supposedly professionals and I asked how I wanted my hair to be one color and they did it with highlights that I didnt ask them to do and more than anything they burned my hair it wasnt the style or color that she asked for. I told the stylist that the chemical is hot and he didnt do anything but they mistreated my hair and more than anything they are not nice. The stylist said that each body has different reactions. But I would have liked him to have explained to me that he couldnt do it, my hair came out all damaged and burned and my hair is falling out. I would like my money back for the damages.

Luis Mora For a cheap, quick and good haircut come here. Only $14 for mens haircut but only one guy cutting hair. The rest is a nail and beauty salon.

Juliann Desmond I needed an acrylic fill & have been dissatisfied with services at other salons so thought I would try Ocean Nail Spa. I was very pleasantly surprised - this place is clean (environment, stations, supplies, instruments). I was accepted immediately for service (thought I might need to make an appt.). Celine did an excellent job (attention to detail, courteous, followed my requests, provided a bottle of water (did not need to ask). I have a follow up appt. with her in a few weeks.
