Joshua Bower-Cooley Ive been going to Jimmy since I moved to the area 12 years ago. Ive never once been disappointed. He really is the best, and an exceptionally nice guy. Ive referred a number of people to him over the years. Most of them are now regulars. Ill keep going as long as hes in business.

Richard Smith Ive been a customer of Jimmys for over three years. I should have written this long ago - Jimmy is the best! Watching him trim my hair is like watching an artist paint a portrait. His work with scissors and trimmer is quick, sure and focused. I recommend him wholeheartedly!

Benicia Rivera She is the best and the only one in the bay area who really knows how to take care of your hair. Simple wet set, blow dry and thats it your done and your hair comes out looking healthy and Beautiful. The price is worth the gain. Ask for Christina and shell take care of you.

Danielle Hodge So happy I found Lucretia! I was in transit traveling on a tour, desperately needing my hair done and I found her on google. I went to her salon, showed up early and she got me in the chair right away. I got a Keratin treatment and she did a great job! She even gave me a trim as well and I was very happy with the cut. Very nice and experienced stylist. I would definetly recommend for anyone looking for a great spot near San Fran. If I could give 10 starts, I would.

Desiree santana Always a very good Hair day when I leave Lucrecias. Be prepared to wait, which if you have good hair you know comes with the territory, but the wait is worth it and she keeps the rotation running very smooth, No one is just sitting there waiting for her, you are either in the blower, seat, shampoo chair, or walking out the door!!. great prices, friendly, cozy atmosphere. I will drive the hour each way to see her, There is no other "Dominican" salon you should even waste time at!! Seriously call her if you want beautiful hair and great service!! even if your not Dominican/Hispanic she can do it all. I am mixed and have curly, kinky, nappy, dry, hair she works magic on me in a few hours I look like Ive had a hair transplant!! :)

Anyra Papsys First visit and Thomas was wonderful with my naturally curly hair. He really listened to what shape I wanted and did EXACTLY that.

Benjamin Leash Im glad I found Heroes & Hairoines Salon. Im not great at explaining what I want, but Kristin Korinke gives me exactly the cut I have in mind thanks to her insight and asking good questions. She is patient and takes the time to get it just right. Margaret Delmore has cut my moms hair and it looked really cute. Margaret did a great job on my dad too and recommended some excellent skin cream for him. Im glad to have met these nice people who go the extra step to make their clients feel great!

Robin RobinJ Just got a terrific haircut from Katheryn OShaunessy. Last time got a great perm from her which can be tricky because not only is my hair halfway down my back, but I dye it. She is wonderful about giving you exactly what you ask for, or if you dont quite know what you want, Katheryn comes up with excellent suggestions. I highly recommend her

Hanin Bukhari Where do I start? Chioma is undoubtedly a professionalism when providing guidance to her clients. Works with clients to understand their wants and needs. Makes recommendations to one’s life style and what would work best to get them through the day with easy. She is kind and humble and talented. I took my 15 year old daughter who was in search of a stylist that understood the skill needed to help her regain growth and confidence. My daughter is a mixed race and has hair texture that most salons/stylists don’t understand the skill needed to work with it. My daughter received 2 Brazilian blowouts that damaged her hair to the point she nearly lost the entire length. (Neither blowouts we’re done at Curltology) Prior to blowouts she had hair length underneath her armpits. After several months her was breaking off that left her hair length to her ears and it was wispy and uneven. My 1st appointment was a consult and by the end of the consult my daughter and I made the decision to work with Chioma, because she explained to us in details the treatment requirements and was honest about the length of time it would take to get the result we were looking for. Her genuine approach and outstanding presentation won us over. We are so, extremely, happy we found Chioma and made the decision to go on the journey with her. My daughter received a cut to even her hair and extensions (1st time ever working with extensions) to get through this process of her hair growing. My daughter has regained confidence and loves her hair. She is constantly getting compliments and that is an amazing feeling for a teen. We have a long road to repair my daughter’s hair but it’s coming along beautifully. Thank you Chioma!!!! RiAnne Johnson So so thankful to have finally found a clean, comfortable, friendly and efficient nail salon. Kathy is awesome!!! I’ve been twice now, first just a drop in to have her remove a bad mani I had gotten somewhere else, then went back a week later (today) for a powder dip. Both times, I called ahead and she got me in same day. My natural nails are very weak and short, and Kathy worked with me to decide on a natural, sparkly powder dip to make my short, ugly brittle nails look super healthy and cute! I can’t wait to go back!!

Elizabeth Clark Kathy (the owner) was extremely meticulous when she gave me a gel manicure and pedicure. They have lasted for well over three weeks. Now I just need to return because my nails have grown out. Definitely recommend!

Dena Green Walked in and needed one nail fixed. Have never been there before but one person was busy and the other women was not. When I asked if she had time and told her what I needed, she thought for a moment then kinda rudely said “UM no” not saying how long or if I could make another appointment. So I just left she did not seem welcoming of new comers. I would have liked to use her services. Very disappointed the way I was treated.

amanda parker Luciano did a fabulous job with my root touch, mask, trim & blow out. Hes professional, but also kind & very patient with an exhausted, anxious & overly stimulated nurse who just needed a refresh today. A lovely human. I highly recommend him!

eSSa Studios I came across Marin Essential Salon a few years ago when I was in desperate need of a haircut in the pandemic and have been getting my haircut here for a few years now. Its so easy to make an appointment and every time I walk it I get a warm welcome from the friendly staff. Issam and the rest of the crew are very talented and offer variety of services for men and women. I have recommended the place to a few friends and they all have been very satisfied as well. I highly recommend Marin Essentials. Five Star all the way!

Mike Nolan I had an excellent experience and received just the services I had requested, even though it was late in the day and totally last minute. I got invited to a fundraiser at the last minute and me and my hair need a wash and a blow dry... Issam, invited me in, as a complete unknown and made me feel completely at home and relaxed in his very spacious salon, which was undergoing some updates. I was made to feel very much taken care if and part of the family very quickly and very genuinely. Although I no longer live in Marin County I am looking forward to revisiting when I am in the area visiting or shopping... Highly recommended... Ask about the parking behind the salon, as well!

Veronique Collet Very nice hair and beauty salon. The decoration is beautiful and modern and there are paintings of a Colombian artist. Marynella is really very nice. It was the first time I came. I had a terrible head and I didnt like the color and the cut of my hair. Marynella did a great job and very professional. I love the color and cut of my hair. I finally found my new hairdresser. I recommend this salon !!!

Claudia Zimmermann Marynela is awesome! I am new to the area and needed to color my hair and good haircut. She did a great job. And the salon is fabulous: minimalistic, very clean and inviting. She does facials too, so I’ll be coming back to try that as well. You won’t be disappointed

Tina Bailey Amanda was my hairdresser. It was my 1st time with her. She did an awesome job. My hair is not the easiest to work with due to it being fine and curly. She did just what I ask for. I must say there are not a lot of hairdressers that know how to do a razor cut but she did with no problem. I would highly recommend her. She knows her stuff.

Gail She gave me bangs when I specifically said I did not want bangs. The bangs are disproportionately short; mullet short. They were so short that they still do not reach my eyes after 3 months. One side of my hear is angular and layered, the other is not. Its the biggest disaster of a haircut Ive ever had.

Jean Franken Its a lovely place. Not at all pretentious, comfortable and Hyatt is the kindest of women. Also, shes such a gifted stylist and the price is terrific. You cant do much better than Hyatts Salon.

Luis I cant explain how happy Im with this place it has been almost 3 years that I was not able to stop at the barber shop for the simple fact that a lot of places they dont really know hot to cut hair. Antonio was exceptional he did my hair in not time, very professional, and friendly. I highly recommend this barber shop to anyone who is looking for good service an a fast way.

Jack Johnson A while back I asked for half an inch off and got about 3.5 inches cut off. Doesn’t sound significant until the fact that my hair is about 4 inches long is brought up. Woman’s hair was fine it seemed like though.

And if I do tell anyone? They dont believe me... Veronika Cuddy After struggling for years with getting the results I want with my hair from many different stylists, I came across Bilancio Salon and finally got what I have always wanted. Kendall is incredibly perceptive and detail-oriented. She gets my color and highlights perfect every time, and I look forward to all of my appointments. Bridgette Garcia Thankful for Kendall who saved my hair! I went in and had a lot of different tones in my hair from a job done in El Salvador. It had been over 6 months since I had anything done to my hair. I have very thick hair and I had red, brown, blonde, brassiness taking over. And I gray really fast. I scheduled an appointment with Kendall, and she went ahead and worked her magic! My hair looks like I have been wanting it to look! I feel refreshed and ready for my trip to Maui next week! She literally saved me and made me feel beautiful again! These past couple months have kept my hair up in a bun most days and hiding my grays. I will only be going to Bilancio Salon and working with Kendall. She took the time to care for my hair, and see the vision!
