Michael Rachid This is a great university with students from all around the world, very beautiful buildings, gardens and sport facilities. It was a fantastic experience to study there for an year and enjoy such a nice atmosphere. Just be aware that you need a car to travel in weekends, for Riverside itself does not have many attractions, though its a cozy city.

Siamak Sianpour I lived in that neighborhood for two years and found the campus to be a safe and peaceful sanctuary, perfect for relaxing or decompressing after work. While I can’t speak to the educational experience, I truly appreciated the serene atmosphere. It was also enjoyable to watch student matches in various sports, such as soccer or baseball, which added to the community spirit.

Maybe one day i will be able to enjoy nice walks through this RCC area without someone leaving me no gift of what was promised. Maybe one day i wont be discriminated for thinking as a preschool kid in america that its okay to take some nice gloves just to be snaked on by some random lady that insisted i get arrested for taking the gloves from her grips of deathly yells and "CALL THE COPS!!!!!" Racist, Preschool Kids in America having fun thinking we found cool gloves then so much pain and screams and even rape and attempts of suicide after. So just do not set kids up anymore lady. (Yes, me and my friends have done way worse than just guns and explosions. Yes, i did my time in many facilities all around the world in many different areas of the world. ToBeAPearl Could you have made your website and registration for classes anymore difficult to navigate? I’m giving 3 stars because I went here and had a good experience and the website and web advisor was easy to navigate. You don’t give 5 now because of how horrific and complicated you made it. My son has to wait until summer now just because we can’t figure out how to register and what class he needs and the counselor he met with didn’t help him and he’s special needs. It absolutely should not be this difficult.

Elsa Virgen This school is amazing! Instructors were great! A lot of my instructors made a huge impact on my life and especially in my future nursing career. One of the main instructor I had majority of my entire program was Mr Liquete who is now the DON of the nursing program. He is now the DON which should say enough. I have evolved so much going here and I owe it to this school and staff. From administration, financial assistance, directors, overall I would definitely recommend this college.

Ava Luce Mr. Liquete is truly the most amazing NP, theory teacher and now DON. i couldn’t have asked for a better instructor for my nursing school experience! he’s so thoughtful, caring and truly inspiring. He got me through a lot of moments where i wanted to quit and give up, he pushed me to do better and genuinely meant it. Mr. Tim is also so amazing. best clinical coordinator out there for real. They made my experience at North-West enjoyable!

Loved One Thank you for your response. Our daughter is attending again this semester, I do notice a lot of crossing guards near the commuter lot. So its an improvement. Dont get hit by a speeding student! Today she was almost hit by a speeding car while she was in the crosswalk. It stopped right before making contact. I called the "safety" people and they told me if she feels unsafe walking on campus, she could request a "safety escort"!

Iveth Villalobos The program itself was good, but I felt to overwhelmed and confused watching the skills being perform in so many different ways, then our in person instructor tells us not to follow the videos because they are not correct or updated which some were from other states or from years ago. I feel that for the price of this program we should have updated videos and also there was to many mistakes while taking the test, some videos wouldn’t load, and lots of misspelled context both online and in the text book and work book. It’s hard to differentiate what information to follow because of all the different types of videos, maybe stick to one specific form so that their is no confusion when its time to take the state exam especially when it comes down to the skills.

Mark Koller I went there to attend a baseball game. Nice field, the seating was difficult on my back. The campus looks very well maintained. Next time Ill bring my own chair.

The educational experiences were wonderful, and I was subsequently accepted to the School of Dentistry at Loma Linda University to further my education and career goals! Cyrus K. UCR EXTEN is very unique & best school in the inland empire. Theyve varieties courses online and in person. Their new facility (relocated awhile ago) is super convenient to everywhere and have very modern classrooms etc. Theyre very knowledgeable, professional and helpful.

M Disappointed with UCR Extension ESL Programme My two quarters in the UCR Extension ESL programme were quite disappointing. My stay at UCR Extension was unsatisfactory due to the programme structure and advisor. Most importantly, the ESL programme was lacking. Disorganised curriculum failed to meet pupils various requirements. Even though I worked hard on the courses, the teaching approaches were ineffective and unengaging. Materials were obsolete and lacked real-world language application. Additionally, my advisor was unresponsive and disrespectful. I repeatedly asked for help but was ignored. Unwelcoming advisors caused irritation and helplessness. I was disappointed to receive no explanation or support despite my programme issues. My biggest issue was the advisors refusal to explain the programs flaws. The advisor was apathetic and unapologetic, neglecting student concerns and areas for growth. This lack of accountability made me feel like a student was undervalued. In conclusion, the UCR Extension ESL programme disappointed and frustrated me. The advisors dismissal and the programs flaws made learning miserable. Prospective students should avoid this programme and UCR Extension should rethink its ESL education and student support. More accountability, openness, and student success are needed in the programme.

lulu I deeply regret coming to this school and wasting my time, energy, money, and gas. At the end of the day this is just a business and you are just a money sign to them, they do not really care about you or your education. I feel played by this school and really wish I had never came here. Thanks to them I am now in debt paying thousands of dollars for only attending classes here for 3 months. Financial aid doesnt know what they are doing or what they are talking about. They are scammers. All for some credits that arent even transferable because this school isnt accredited. I dont recommend you come here. I wish I would have done better research before coming here because you can go to other colleges and universities for much cheaper. All this school left me with is un transferable credits, thousands of dollars in student loans, and a messed up credit score (cause they want you to start paying them immediately). please dont waste your time here your much better off going to community college.

Bree vdb As a former student, I agree with all these other reviews. They are a scam! I tried to transfer schools and was told my credits meant nothing. I wanted to be a dvm but would have to start all over again because my schooling at platt didn’t count. After only 2 months I somehow owe them 4,000. Don’t waste you time go somewhere accredited!

Nicole Rae Valencia There are nice planters around Olmsted Hall with palm trees, birds of paradise and even a bronze and stainless steel sculpture called a Water Star. Building #1 has a cool and shady entrance with tall bamboo and ivy growing across the brickwork. Ive only been inside one of the conference rooms so I cant speak for the interior, but it appears the 2 buildings are difficult to navigate, as Im often asked if I know where classroom #___ is in Olmsted. Im posting a pic of a paper sign (Lost?) that was up during summer quarter because it should be posted permanently!

agustina castro I had an uncomfortable experience with the staff at the building. I was sitting in the lobby around 4:00 PM, quietly working on homework while waiting for a class I had nearby at 5:00 PM. A woman at the front desk approached me and asked if I had a class in that building. I said no and offered to leave, explaining that I was just waiting for a class in a nearby location. She then told me it was okay to stay, but the interaction made me feel very awkward and unwelcome. Shortly after, she called her supervisor. I explained the situation to him and again said I was happy to leave if needed. He told me the building closes at 5:00 PM—it was only 4:30 PM at the time. I left shortly after, but I noticed that other students remained in the lobby of the Medical Building 2 without being questioned or asked to leave. The whole situation felt inconsistent and unnecessary. If students are allowed to wait quietly in the lobby, it would be helpful if policies were applied fairly to everyone. I just felt singled out for no clear reason.

Daniel Ledesma When it came to addressing my issues in person my first year of college, it was great. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about this year. For some reason my financial aid isnt popping up for my billing statement and of course I need to know that the issue is behind that because all my requirements have been satisfied. So I call the HOSS because I am not in Riverside for school. The usual automated voice message system goes by and I can briefly hear like someone picks up the phone and then proceeds to hang up. I called multiple times and the same thing would happen over and over again.
