Shelly Ohlms Children escaped out of a gate at this facility and almost got hit by cars yesterday. There is zero room for error when it comes to safety of kids under 3. Recommend reviewing their licensing complaints and staying far away from this daycare.

Lauren Dawson As a parent I couldnt have been happier with our time at Storybook Schoolhouse. The staff was incredibly caring and attentive and created a warm and nurturing environment for our little one. It was easy to see they care about the kids safety and learning. Our kiddo came home smiling every day, and we appreciated the open communication channels with the staff. Five stars!!!

J W I live across the street from this daycare - the man who drives the gold vw bug blasting music at 7 am is ridiculous. no one wants to hear your speakers rattling as you fly down sherman. there is also a mother that drives a black toyota (I believe it’s a rav4) that is absolutely reckless when going to pick up her child; tailgating & running the stop sign. I can’t speak on their childcare but based on the review from 2 WEEKS AGO stating children escaped… i’m not surprised. stay FAR away.

Lena Al Hi everyone I am a mother of a child who attends Castles preschool and daycare. I am so happy with the service I am getting there. Castles is a diverse place for everyone to feel comfortable and welcomed. I had my older daughter who is a second grader gone there and She enjoyed it so much, and now I have my son who loves being there. As a native Arabic speaker, I am so glad to see my son’s teacher talking and teaching the class the Arabic numbers and country, which is another great ability I give her 2 thumbs up for it.

Robin Carter-Ervin We really like Castles. Our kids have always been well cared for. I would give 4 stars only because the food isnt as healthy as I would like and they dont send pictures to parents of their babies in the baby room and I really wanted that when I started my 3 month old.

Telu Fuller They have wonderful staff members who are always going above and beyond for the children they care for! This daycare is perfect for kids to play with friends and learn new skills. Love you Castles!

Bobbi Baus An amazing center for toddlers and preschoolers. My daughter thrived with all the care and fun that was provided to her over the years she attended. The owner takes so much pride in the center and is always making updates to equipment and bringing in new fun things for the kids. Highly recommended!

Lauren Pozzi Heather is fantastic and has a wonderful group of caregivers working for her. Well thought out schedule, healthy food, and a great environment. Weve had two kids attend the center at different times and we love it.

Mollie Rice I highly recommend Creative Minds! Such a wonderful learning center with very professional/comforting staff. Love the use of the Brightwheel app as it allows parents to get frequent updates throughout the day.

Angelica Maria My daughter loves coming to school every day. Her teachers are constantly giving updates on the app throughout the day and telling me all about her day at pickup. She leaves with the biggest smile on her face every day. Staff truly treats your children as if they are their own.

Alicia Toohey KCP really is the school of heart. The teachers and staff are incredible and they truly care for the kids. The communication between staff and parents is great. They do fun crafts, activities, outside play time on the playgrounds and even have an indoor space (with a bounce house!) for the rainy days. We feel safe dropping our kids off at KCP and love that our kids look forward to going to school every week.

I love the teachers, the small class sizes, the very productive Director (Julia) and just the level of happiness my daughter has while she is here! KCP has been a great preschool option for my kids and I highly recommend for other families as well!

Jenna Keating We have been going to Kings Christian Preschool for a little over a year and have loved it so much! The teachers are kind, caring, and my child enjoys going everyday. They provide a safe learning environment that allows the children to grow and learn in a positive and clean atmosphere.

Christopher Phipps I love this little preschool! It used to be in Orland before it moved to Chico and I know a few parents whose kids went there for years. They all loved Miss Lori. Shes so great with the kids. My niece Ashley went there too. Never saw a smile so big on a four year old. So many preschools are big now, its nice that Miss Lori keeps this small and personal. She really cares for everyone and the kids feel special. This is what I expect a preschool to be. Its focused on the kids and getting them ready for kindergarten. I know she teaches math and science skills, but her kids parties are the best part. Her Halloween party last year was amazing I cant believe how creative she is. The kids really pick up on that. So glad this is in Chico now!!

Melissa Petras You will never find anyone better to care for your kids. Miss Lori treats every child the with kindness, caring, and the love they deserve. If she is having a hard day youll never know it because she is full of energy, creativity, & laughter. She teaches them confidence, honesty, and inspires their imagination. My son never wanted to go home when I would pick him up and he couldnt wait to get dropped off in the mornings. Her pricing is fair and the best I had found. I loved that she was so very involved even using her own money to decorate for holidays. She decorates for each kids birthday based on their wants making them feel super special. She even creates a graduation while preparing them for kindergarten. The small, in home environment was just what I was looking for and i wish we were still local so my daughter could go to her too. I honestly wish I had found her sooner.

Ashley Heath Its hard to find a good daycare for kids. My son had been with this daycare for 3 years now. today was the day I was upset about, one of the new teachers there. I called to tell them I was gonna be 15 minutes late due to my job. I just heard in her voice she just was mad that I called to say I was gonna be late I just felt her whole demeanor was off. Every once in a while im late to pick up my son. If so I send a family member to pick him to respect everybody time frame but you have to expect for parents to be late sometimes.

Phil Strawn My boys have gone here for a few years now and I couldn’t imagine a better place for them. Our youngest was kicked out of his previous school for biting and Kathy and staff sorted him out and completely corrected the issue. They are great with the littles. Strongly recommend this center for all parents as a place to feel safe and secure with your kids.
