Eva Devoe I attended NPA from 8th grade through the end of high school, and I will always have the fondest memories here. Ive never attended or heard of a school where the teachers put so much thoughtful attention into facilitating a positive experience for students- we were encouraged to participate in community events, given the incredible opportunity of international travel (with financial support if needed), and shown support both personally and academically throughout high school (and middle school). We formed friendships with both our classmates and our teachers, and for this reason had a community network whenever we needed it.
It is not a generic high school experience at NPA, which means it may not be a perfect fit for everyone, but I believe the school fosters a much more tight knit and welcoming community than most "classic" high schools, and for this reason I have no regrets attending NPA.

Gaia Denisi NPA is everything a school should be. It nurtured my love of literature, philosophy, critical thinking, and the arts while providing me with a supportive community and intensive academic preparation for college. NPAs IB program prioritizes meaningful, individualized learning and provides students with the writing, thinking, and analysis skills necessary to thrive at the college level. NPA effectively balances this academic rigor with a kind, loving, familial, and creative community that instills a love of beauty, human connection, and the value of learning for its own sake.
