5 /5 Graham Payne: f your style is anywhere between chic, campy, and “I need something cool for this one event,” go to Shipwreck. The selection is so good and the store is organized in a way that makes it fun to browse without feeling chaotic. The window displays alone are worth a stop, and inside it’s packed with little treasures ;) vintage finds, standout shoes, flowy tops, and random perfect accessories you didn’t know you needed. Every time I come in I leave with something I’m excited about, and the people working there always make the experience feel welcoming. Five stars, easy.

5 /5 Eileen Topic: Every time I go into Shipwreck I leave with something that is a new favorite staple in my everyday life. The people that work there are incredibly welcoming and helpful, which makes the store feel inviting and comfortable. The prices are fair and there’s so many different fun things to choose from. It’s the kinda store where I think there’s something for every person. I appreciate that I always see lots of new items every time I’m there. I can tell they take great care to ensure to have a wide, fun selection in the store at any given moment. Definitely worth stopping in and checking it out, even just to take a peek at their ever-changing window displays, which bring such a delight to the plaza as a whole! Shipwreck is a true gem in Arcata.

5 /5 Graham Payne: Shipwreck is such a gem. It’s the perfect mix of second-hand, true vintage, and newer pieces from local makers, and everything feels really thoughtfully curated. I always end up finding something :) clothes, jewelry, accessories, even fun little extras like socks and soap. The shop has a boutique vibe but the prices still feel super fair, and the staff are genuinely kind and helpful without being pushy. If you like unique pieces and want a spot that’s creative but still easy to shop, this is it.

With its epic window displays, Shipwreck is a store brimming with artistry, and such a wonderful, colorful, welcome addition to our Plaza. So grateful to have such an awesome, woman-owned small business at the heart of our little town!

5 /5 Gabrielle Breathing Heart: I LOOOOOOVE Shipwreck Vintage shop. It’s beautifully curated and creativity blooms out of the space. It’s been one of my favorite places to buy and sell clothes for years. I also always feel like the people working are kind, friendly and willing to give honest feedback about whether a piece really works for you or not! It’s just all around a wonderful place and I have found many treasures there!!!
