1 /5 Kay-Ann: Every time I visit an area I look forward to visiting a consignment store so it was a great surprise when I looked out the window of my hotel and this establishment was directly across the street from my room. I checked out the website and was delighted to see the owners passion and experience with opening her own store.
Unfortunately, I was incredibly disappointed when I went to the store and was ignored upon arrival. I didnt think too much of it because the owner was having a conversation with what looked and sounded like an old friend. I continued to browse and found some nice pieces. Getting ready to check out and still no pleasantries, no thank you for visiting, no thank you for the purchase, nothing. I thought it was because I am a minority, but I saw the interaction between the owner and another paying customer that was looking for a dress to her daughters wedding. The owner just isnt pleasant and its really a shame. Even if I went to the store and found absolutely nothing, a pleasant business owner would make me want to visit a second time. Beautiful pieces but customer service goes a long way for me, and Im certain many other paying customers.
