She provided amazing customer service and was incredibly patient with both me and my boyfriend. She was very knowledgeable, took the time to explain everything clearly, and gave us great options without ever being pushy. She also had an incredible sense of style and a confident, polished look that really stood out. Her professionalism and kindness made our shopping experience truly enjoyable.

My experience with Macy’s Furniture in Monterey has been an absolute nightmare that has lasted months. I ordered a sofa months ago, and they have managed to send the wrong item twice. The first delivery was a "hit and run." We told the driver the sofa was incorrect and not to leave it. He lied to our faces, saying he was just moving the truck so a neighbor could get their car out—then he simply drove off, leaving a massive white sofa I never ordered sitting in my wine room. When I called Macys, the salesperson actually had the audacity to threaten me, saying I "better be careful" not to damage the wrong sofa or I wouldnt get my money back. Today was the second attempt. My husband, Todd, insisted the driver open the box while it was still on the truck to verify the item. Surprise—it was the wrong sofa AGAIN. The driver refused to take any responsibility, slammed the issue onto the warehouse manager, and left. Currently, I am out the money for TWO sofas, I’m stuck with a white sofa I didnt order taking up space in my home, and Macy’s refuses to refund me until the "correct" sofa arrives—an item I honestly don’t believe I will ever receive. No one at this company takes accountability. I’ve seen other reviews where this exact same thing happened to another woman. This is predatory, unprofessional, and the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Save yourself the stress and the money: Stay far away from Macy’s Furniture.

2 /5 claire: Came in to try on sunglasses to buy a Christmas gift. Full intentions to buy something, not just trying on to be annoying. Sales associate interrupts conversation I was having w my family to tell us they would like us to place the sunglasses we try on on these trays above the displays. Totally ok, we nod and acknowledge her. We all separate and start to look. These two young children were screaming and wrestling which literally filled the whole room with noise. One of the kids was screaming to a point where he seemed in pain. Truthfully, it distracted me while I was trying on a pair and I set it down in the display. The same sales associate came by to snap at me, “I asked you to put them in the tray,” and practically took the glasses from my hands. Like, come on. I just walked away and we didn’t end up getting anything. You’ll have a better time at Sunglass Hut across the way.
