1 /5 Cynthia Houser: I paid IN FULL a bill on 7/17. On the posted due date.
August 4th I received a another bill for $32.25.
When I called to dispute this bill with MARY, and her supervisor Marie (?) They told me it was a late fee.
Layne Bryant did not post my bill until the 18thof July. That is a them problem.
When I dug further, supervisor MARIE (?) said I was 《51 minutes》 late. But they didnt post it for 24 hours.
I was disconnected when, yes I went there.
I called back. Spoke with supervisor ANNA, whom also said it was a late fee and would not rectify this discrepancy.
I told her to close my account. ANNA actually told me if I kept the account open she would not charge me the late fee. Isnt that blackmail? She said it was a courtesy.
I continued to close out the account. Did you know there is a $9.00 over the phone payment?
She waived that but asked again if I wanted to keep this account open. I said no.
They blackmail you to keep accounts open, and by extortion charge you the phone charge.
Not only that, they dont speak English well so to navigate the language barrier AND the bill was torturous.
I will never shop there again. I paid that late fee they chose NOT to post for 24 and if I hear from them again it will be too much.
Calling my bank now to make sure thats all they take.
