I always feel better supporting a business that upcycles and repurposes items in such creative, thoughtful ways. From the moment you walk in, you can tell how much the owners, Jenny and Melissa, genuinely care about the customer experience. You’re greeted by friendly, welcoming staff and surrounded by an incredible variety of unique, beautifully curated pieces. Every visit feels inspiring and fun. This is my go-to shop in SLO, whether I’m treating myself or looking for the perfect gift for someone else. Junk Girls has an unmatched vibe. Creative, joyful, and truly unforgettable!

Her necklace needed a new leather strap and Mellissa was so kind as to make her a custom fix right on the spot. She came up with a couple of ideas for the perfect fit and my daughter is now able to wear her precious Tahitian pearl again. This shop is so fun to explore. The artists take ordinary objects and turn them into the most unexpected works of art. My mind expands every time I visit. I want to go back and take every single one. The workshops are perfect for a fun night with friends, a creative date night, or even solo if you’re looking to build your artistic skills.

5 /5 Andrea Bradford: If I could give this shop 10 Stars I would. The staff are amazing. Jenny Kays art is beautiful. Melissa stamp to custom stamp for me. And Patty at the desk was so so helpful. This is my favorite store in San luis. I love that they have all kinds of old stuff that lets me create my own art as well. Cannot recommend the store highly enough. Whether you are into art or not. Everything here is just so interesting.
