5 /5 M Frat: I enjoy visiting ISAMU whenever I am in town to see whats new. It is a curated store with a focus on high quality Japanese brands, denim and products. Due to the popularity and lack of availability of some of these brands in the U.S., one has to keep in mind that a lot of these items sell quickly when they are in stock, so the collections change frequently. For me, this makes ISAMU a fresh visit every time. Also, I have had nothing but friendly interactions with the folks who work here. They let you shop, but are equally engaged and eager to discuss the brands and products they stock. Overall, if you are into what ISAMU focuses on, which I am, you will enjoy the space and vibe they have created. It is a unique and welcome addition to the shops on Palm Canyon.

The store has this calm, almost gallery-like vibe open space, clean lines, beautiful textures everywhere. It felt curated, not crowded, which immediately made shopping less stressful and a lot more enjoyable. ISAMU isn’t just another shop where you pop in, grab a shirt, and leave. It feels intentional. Personal. Elevated. For anyone looking to buy men’s clothing that stands apart especially women shopping for someone they care about this place makes the whole process feel special and surprisingly easy. I’ll definitely be back, and next time I’m bringing my husband with me. This store is a gem.

The items they carry are well-chosen, but there were multiple sizes of the same products instead of offering more variety. With such a limited footprint, a wider range of styles would make browsing a lot more exciting. The layout also feels a little scattered, even though the beauty section and Garrett Leight eyewear are nice touches. Overall, the store has potential, and the curation itself is strong, but the environment didn’t make me want to linger. I found myself moving through more quickly than I expected, and I left wishing the setup and assortment better matched the quality of the pieces they carry.

They can be in any other city and be a top choice for any discerning customer looking for the best international brands or even if a customer is new to the brand offerings...theyll learn a thing or two. Its a beautiful space that is thoughtful and clean. The staff is great and the owner is a veteran of the apparel industry and it shows. Kudos, Isamu!
