1 /5 Celeste Sanchez: Untrustworthy—Stole $200 worth of clothing from me.
Sell items here at your own risk. I am not sure if I was being racially discriminated, or if these people genuinely do not understand how to work their own system—but they stole $200 worth of clothing from me and donated it without my knowledge or consent.
Upon dropping my clothing items off, I was told by a sales attendant that I would be contacted if a buyer was interested any of my items. Weeks pass by and I hear nothing. No texts, no emails, no phone calls. Finally, I decide to call in myself, and I am told by Rebecca that my clothes have been donated and there is no way to retrieve them. She proceeds to tell me I should have received text messages telling me to come in and pick up my clothing. I never received a SINGLE message from this establishment. When I asked her to provide me with a log or history of messages sent to me on her end, she conveniently had no access to anything of the sort. I wonder if my clothing was ever really donated or simply stolen by Rebecca or one of her staff members given that 2/3 of the items I left were of high quality and in brand new condition (with tags!)
In this day and age, its deeply disheartening to witness an American business in my own community show no accountability or remorse after stealing from a minority woman.
