5 /5 Michael Guynn: Whenever somebody compliments my shirt and asks where I got it, the answer is almost always Buffalo Exchange. As a disclaimer, I have only ever shopped here, not traded clothes in. But as a buyer this place rules. Ive never seen so many interesting and fun clothing in one store. Especially patterned button-up shirts: they have some crazy cool and loud ones. Pretty much everything (except maybe the shoes) tend to be in great condition, and the prices are reasonable. Not cheap, but reasonable. Its pretty popular though, so be prepared to navigate a crowd and try to squeeze through tight openings and walkways.

4 /5 Michelle Gurrola: my go-2 for any event or just because is buffalo. i love buying - and selling here. after almost 10 years of selling, i feel like ive developed a good prediction of whatll sell, and ive sold almost everything i take in the last year. you can call the store to specifically ask what they are looking for. then, weed out any pieces from your sell pile that have stains, holes, missing buttons, looks outdated, soles are dirty/too used or is fast-fashion. think almost new quality, good condition & branded to have a shot. theyll also take unique and vintage clothes if the quality is pristine. contrary to the reviews, ive never sold anything fast-fashion from here. however, lately nothing at the store has caught my eye. ive noted more wholesale from boutiques. i used to love finding a one of a kind patchwork dress, vintage purses and boots, but lately, everything looks the same. the buyers arent as friendly. ive always stayed up front while they are buying to see what they have an eye for. they dont look you in the eye, have side conversations with co-workers, or worse, ask you everytime if youve sold there even if you have stopped by over 10 times with the same seller. it doesnt hurt to acknowledge they recognize you if they dont know your name. it feels transactional where it used to feel more personal.

1 /5 Clariece G: I used to bring my clothes, jewelery, shoes etc to exchange. It used to be very convenient and profitable. Not anymore. Unless its ugly as sin, big and gotti, or costume like dont bother. I brought in NICE silver, crosses with cubic zirconia, beautiful pieces... nope. They are catering to this new generation and I get that, but wow. Its gone so so downhill. And the payout now is a joke. They took a pair of earrings said $30 and I got $5. I get Im not going to get the $30, but I wouldve made more selling everything on fb marketplace and avoided that place altogether. Thats what Im going to do from now on. Its not worth it anymore

2 /5 noah lia Klapp: This place has gone downhill, you’d think they would take a look at the labels before accepting clothing. They sell so much SHEIN and fast fashion garbage brands as a “vintage store”. They should think about quality over quantity. Cleaner selection of quality clothes.

1 /5 Benjamin Eades: Used to love shopping at this store during my regular visits to Main Street in Ventura. Yesterday will definitely be my last visit due to the extreme rudeness of the store manager Alyssa. All of the other employees have always been courteous and friendly but Alyssa definitely needs improvement on her customer service skills.
