1 /5 Amy Long: I was very disappointed when I went in to exchange a shirt today. The shirt was a gift for my husband from our adult daughter. I explained the shirt was the wrong size and I wanted to get the correct size and was told by the gentleman that they do not do returns on sale items. I understand some items are final sales. But he was dismissive because I didn’t have a receipt. We don’t usually get receipts with gifts… He told me I would have to discuss it with management but no one was there who could handle it then. It was around 2pm on Wednesday. He gave me the card and told me I could call. We live an hour away. It’s not like we can just pop in to exchange the item. He did not seem interested in trying to resolve the issue. This was my first experience in this store and I doubt I will return. I enjoy most of the shops on the plaza and do try to buy local whenever possible. Especially during the holidays. But I cannot see myself returning to Bell & Hook.
