06-2025 Zocalo Park in Hight rate 15 location for tourist in Anaheim, CA, USA (part 2)Snow Whites Grotto - Anaheim Sidiscool76: A nice nostalgic ride I’ve been on a lot of times it can be very fun. I also definitely recommend this one to children visiting Disneyland.
The Sword in the Stone - Anaheim Walker Hecht: Pretty fun! Im enjoying all the different things around that can be found. It takes some deliberation, and the crowds dont help - dont get me started on aggressive parents pushing strollers. But this is another must find spot thats easy to overlook. But you should stop and see it and remember where it came from
WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure - Anaheim Clemens Wan: Top 3 rides for kids. Super interactive like the buzz lightyear ride, but only with using your arm motions. You dont need to do the Spiderman hand shape and you can just do closed fist forward jabs. Its a few rounds of 3d punching with some rotating to move between screens. Honestly, such a well designed and fun ride for marvel fans. We used a lightning lane multi pass for this one to reduce the wait.
Flightdeck + Rogue Racing - Anaheim Todd Lewis: Very fun and realistic flight simulator that was really unique to try or gift to someone. I flew one one of the larger planes and, with some patience, got the hang of it. The cockpit and controls are very realistic. I highly suggest giving it a try if flying a plane is an interest of yours.
Avengers Headquarters - Anaheim Michael Ong: Great to see the Avengers from their ledge below the Quinjet - we saw Loki and Minutemen, Ant-Man and the Wasp, Thor, Captain Marvel,, and Black Widow wave to us. There also was a fight scene for Black Widow. The characters also come down for meet & greets: Iron Man was across from Pym testing Kitchen, while others hung out by the SHIELD jeep. The Dora Milaje also have a show where they parade to the small stage and back.
San Fransokyo Square - Anaheim Leah: This is a neat area with many food choices!
It seemed consistently busy, and at times quite crowded, which makes sense since it offers lots of seating with incredible views to enjoy a meal or just take a break. Get your timing right, and you just might see some cute characters who like to frequent this area!
San Fransokyo is especially impressive at night when all the little lanterns are lit, so be sure to check it out for yourself!
X-Wing - Anaheim Andrew Tosczak: Great photo opportunity! Busy spot. Feels like your walking around in the star wars universe.
Mother Colony House - Anaheim Priscilla: My family and I took a tour of this place and we had an amazing experience there. The interior was beautiful. The employees were very courteous and understanding. Definitely recommend visiting this place.
Santa Ana Zoo - Santa Ana Maika Rothfuss: This is a lovely little zoo. My friend and I decided to check it out since we were in the area. There is decent amount of parking with some overflow if none is available in the front. Its a decent size, we were there about 2 hours, leisurely walking through and looking at the animals.
All the animals had an indoor area to hide, so some of them were sleeping while we were there, but we got to see over half of them out and about.
There are lots of scenic spots to take pictures, and lots of seating to rest. The day we went had a pop up that was Mind in Motion, which had booths pertaining to community events and lots of child programs and wellness, which we thought was really neat and a positive addition to the community.
It was a Saturday, so it was decently busy, some animals that were out would have a little crowd gathered to look at them, but we still got our turn to view as well. There were "fun facts" throughout the park, which we both found informative and interesting. There was also a butterfly exhibit but that requires reservations a head of time, which we didnt know, so the wait was too long for us.
It was a lovely day out for walking around the zoo and enjoying the atmosphere and animals.
