Lauren De Alba: I came here all of the time when I was a kid so when I moved back into the area I was so excited to come back here. The first time I went the cut was so cute and exactly what I wanted, so I booked another appointment with the same woman that helped me. The one who manages the phone. When I went back to her she wasn’t acting the same towards me. Even rudely gave me back my change when I paid. I didn’t do anything to deserve this behavior. I kindly gave her a tip and left before I myself got irritated. After that behavior I obviously didn’t go back. When I went to get my haircut at another salon the woman cutting my hair kindly asked me three different times if I cut my own hair lol. Her words “whoever cut your hair last didn’t do a very good job “. She was honestly confused about my hair. I figured since my hair was dry and not bouncy after my previous cut. This salon is cute but I get the feeling that if you aren’t a regular or a sweet abuela they wouldn’t want your business.

I recently attended sassy gal academy makeup class, and it was truly an incredible experience! From start to finish, the class was well-organized, informative, and hands-on, instructor Nancy (owner) was not only professional but also extremely patient and encouraging.
What I loved most was how she explained each technique step by step, ensuring everyone understood and had the opportunity to practice. I learned everything from creating the perfect base to mastering bold eye looks. The tips and tricks shared were incredibly useful, and I can already see improvements in my makeup skills!
The class was also a lot of fun, with a relaxed atmosphere that made it easy to ask questions and receive personalized feedback. The makeup products used were good-quality, and I even got to try some new products I wouldn’t have thought to use on my own.
