1 /5 Barry M: I have to admit that they did treat my mother OK when she stayed there in 2021, however, the staff was always arguing with each other and the turnover rate was unbelievable! Just as soon as you got to know a nurse, they were gone. During my mothers 2 month stay there, they had not 1, but two management changes and almost a complete staff turnover. The big trouble started after I checked my mother out and put her in a home health care facility under hospice care. I went in to pay off my mothers final balance and requested that they check again with their home office of the final balance. They called me a day later and told me the final balance, which I went in and paid off for my mother. My mother passed away a few months later and then after about 8 months, I get a bill saying my mother owed more money. I went in and showed my mothers death certificate and told them I was not responsible because the receipt I received said paid in full, and we are not liable for my mothers s debt. My mother only had a small pension to pay her bills and my brothers and I helped her pay for her medical needs, but we are not responsible for these so called new charges. I talked to an ombudsman, who also said we were not responsible for these new charges since my mother had passed, had no money, and that our receipt said paid in full. Its 3 years later and after explaining this situation to at least 2 new finance people, I thought we had it finally resolved, but today I get a phone message from yet another new finance person saying I need to take care of my mothers bill.
Unbelievable, Unprofessional, and unorganized!
Oh, and when I try to call back the finance persons voicemail is always full and no one answers!
