5 /5 Mackenzie Martin: I couldnt have been luckier to have Dr Shepard as the surgeon in the ER the day I went in for abdominal pain. Turned out I needed an appendectomy. This appendectomy quite possibly saved my life. When Dr. Shepherd did the operation, he went in to remove the appendix and discovered that I had a very rare tumor. He quickly provided me with follow up care - the surgeons who did my follow up surgeries said they were very impressed by Shepards work. He and his staff are comforting, honest and patient. In what was the scariest moment of my life, I was confident that with Dr Shepards guidance and expertise, he was going to get me the best treatment for my rare condition. He is an exceptional listener, and you can tell that he has a true love for helping people. Hes everything you could hope for in a doctor. Hes a hero in my heart.
