Good to see Walnut trees were not totally removed by this city, as that has been their goal, but we citizens had been fighting them for over a decade. Bad thing: Saturdays Farmers Market had become very political, so I and many others had stopped going.

I’m not sure what can be done about this, but it seems at odds with proving a safe space for families and kids. The playground is just feet away from the restroom, which appears to have become a rendezvous point for drug users.

5 /5 Gluten-free Gale: Walnut Park is a cute little park just off downtown. There are beautiful benches with rose covered shade and a concert pavilion. There is also a nice play structure, with baby swings, a sand pit, and a climbing structure.

Liann Amagan: What a hidden gem in Petaluma and especially if you like Port, sweet, and dessert wine if you don’t want to go all the way to Portugal. There’s a parking lot and street parking. Bathrooms are located outside and they have a nice tasting area. I’ve tried their rose port, petit Syrah, deco (chocolate), and maduro reserve which was my favorite because it had a little whiskey taste to it and didn’t seem as sweet as the others. A lot of people really like their deco/chocolate port. I regret not taking more bottles home and to gift to people. The servers were so knowledgeable and friendly and were awesome!

DR_ MANHATTAN: The public bathroom are closed. A very small swimming pool for a large park. There were a few homeless people in the area witch was not a problem. If you decide to visit dont forget to bring your cold drinks in a cooler because summer at this park gets hot. The Playground is clean and everything looks good.

Josh House: Just what youd think A bunch of old photos you could just download online If you ever get really really lucky youll catch this place open Its hit or miss ..when you enter thru the musky doors that are 150 years old youll look around and find some aerial shots of Modesto about a hundred years ago. And some lanyards from the local sports team Real nice old lady that works there doesnt know anything about anything but she sure is friendly .

Thomas Durso: Great place if you like being chased by stray dogs, glared at by homeless people, and stepping over human feces and trash to get to the river. Full on brush shelters built along the banks full of trash (clothes, toilet paper, old bikes, broken stereos, etc.). Also the parking lot is full of people sitting in their cars doing drugs who stare at you as you drive in. Im a dude who almost never feels uncomfortable in places like this, but I did not feel safe at all here. This could be such a nice park but is pretty much taken over by homeless people and stray cats and dogs.
