I will never come back to this church or what we call it here in our neighborhood where the church is located (the bank church). This church does ask for too much money the 10% or more like someone commented here. They make you believe that an oil will cure diseases, just weird things like that at a young age ofcourse I was so naïve I believed everything. They have two old ladies selling churros from apartment to apartment they are the ones who would come looking for me when I had stopped going . I stopped going when this church just didn’t feel right. Now that I’m grown no where in the Bible it says that an oil will cure diseases. No man no idol will cure anything only Jesus. This church is like those T.V churches just a scam! And yeah you see the pastors with their good cars. So beware people! Remember Jesus is only the way to savior, nothing else!

Sandra Moorhouse: Love this church!! It has been such a blessing to me since I moved to the area two years ago. Its a smaller church but a good one, very family-oriented and Bible-based. The worship is great (a mix of hymns and new songs), the kids programs are thriving (Sunday School, nursery, Vacation Bible School), and the womens ministry is such a blessing. Pastor Phils sermons are very relatable, and he and his family clearly have a heart for service. Whatever your needs are, if youre in the area and looking for a church, its definitely worth a visit.

Josue: The English service was empty, maybe 5 ppl not including my wife and i, the preacher was literally flirting with a young woman from the pulpit. He also made a horrible statement while pointing at a young man and said “ do not be like mike” , calling him out a hypocrite. I will never go there again. My young son went inside a class room with children his age and the teacher yelled at him because he was playing with a toy car making car noises. He was just a baby 2yrs old. Thank God my older son was there if not i would have never found out. After church was over the Spanish side of the church ( different room) invited us to eat and were very friendly. Horrible place to congregate

Gretchen Levesque: Knott Avenue has a core value that’s so accurate as a description: “Real talk before small talk”. We raised our kids in this church and still attend now. We’ve seen pastors come and go and the Lord has been faithful to use each leader in their unique ways. We currently have a new pastor added to the teaching team, Pastor Joe. He’s the primary teacher and does an excellent job teaching us through the scriptures. The pulpit is shared by other gifted and Godly pastors. A few things have always been the same at our 20 years here; the Word of God will not be compromised, the congregation is beautifully diverse, the people and worship time are not pretentious, and you will grow if you get involved—they make it easy to do that.
