1 /5 Susana: The doctors are helpful. The front office needs training. Ive had a few issues but this is about the last time that gave me the push to move to a different office. Ive been with this office for over 3 years. My insurance has been steady, I havent changed a thing. I go to the office for an appointment time they set for me. When I get there they tell me my insurance says its inactive because they have had changes to the system and that I needed to show them my insurance card. I didnt bring it because it wasnt a new insurance and they already have copies of it. I wish they would have told me when the appointment was set so I could come prepared, but they didnt. So I called my insurance in front of her to verify that it was active, it was. I went as far as to download the app to show her it was active and the office was in network. The girl tells me that the girl who calls to verify if insurance is still active was on lunch. She proceeds to tell me that she doesnt know when she will be back because sometimes she takes 2 or 3 hours lunches. If she new that she might be gone that long, it would have been a good idea to do her work first and verify insurances for upcoming appointments. Instead they girl at the front desk asked me to pay out of pocket for the appointment and to deal with my insurance personally to get reimbursed. While I was there, they did the same to at least 2 other people. Someone isnt doing their job there so.
