3 /5 Katherine Van Leeuwen: Too expensive for women’s haircuts. My haircut took a bit less than 15 minutes. Was a simple 2 inch trim, no layers. No shampoo or blow dry. And cost FORTY FIVE DOLLARS. The man who was getting his hair cut at the same time as me took more time, had a more complicated haircut, but only paid $27. $45 is a salon price. This was a quick in and out barber. When I asked why it was so much, I was told “all women are 45 and up”, that’s all. I was hoping this could be my regular every-8-weeks but at $45 a pop for a 15 minute haircut, no way!
The haircut was solid and Maria was great, but I won’t be back.
