1 /5 Savannah Muniz: MY HEART IS BROKEN. New and moved to the area, looked for a good church and then found ourselves here at the Rock. Had an overall great time and experience and it was about to become our church. THEY TURNED AWAY MY SPECIAL NEEDS SON. I’m leaving this review for my special needs families out there. When we arrived I ALWAYS explained my son’s autism and all that comes with it. I even explained to please have him in a lower age ground because cognitively he is not with the peers of 8 years and older. He is unable to successfully do the same demands and expectations as a typical 8+ year old. They did not listen to what I had to say and said “oh he will be okay we have him covered let’s put him with his age group”. I go get him after service and was told I need to ask permission and see if it is “okay” to leave him next time and if it is not okay he will be TURNED away. TURNED AWAY? Any other parents kids getting turned away due to disabilities or just mine? Their reasoning was having someone sit with him and watch him (which he doesn’t require 1:1 support) but they said telling him to be quiet and sit down required staff on him and they didn’t have staff for that. My son has Autism placing demands on him to stay seated and quiet isn’t something he can “just do”. We left and haven’t gone back. THEY DONT HAVE “SUPPORT” FOR SPECIAL NEEDS FAMILIES

Pastor Phil is very relatable and delivers Gods word in a way that people can understand it in todays day and age. His wife Val and Ms Elsa are amazing with the kiddos and I have seen my kids grow in their faith as well since we have been attending! If you havent given Passion Life a try you definitely should!

The whole staff is kind, knowledgeable, helpful, fun, easy to be around and creative. They always have fun events scheduled and the sermons are well laid out and easy to follow. I feel like I have grown so much this past year due to this church family, Jesus is really present. I recommend getting plugged into a small group, it’s a wonderful way to get connected and strengthen your faith. They have two different campuses and a variety of times to satisfy most schedules. I would highly recommend Crosspoint to the established Christian and to someone just curious of what it’s all about.

The youth pastor is fantastic at bringing such solid biblical truth and teaching in a way that the teens can really understand and apply.

The lead pastor, Zac, is funny, relatable, and caring. Three months later, I was baptized, three months go by, I was married. Soon after that we were expecting our baby girl! Fusion provided us with so much love and support. I don’t know where we would be without them. Praise Jesus for saving us and thank you Zac for always being there.

Pepper Ann: The sermon was great the music? Meh.. bland at best.. three stars because today I did not appreciate politics being brought to the church. Its one thing the tell people vote their hearts by doing the research on each and every candidate. Its another something the tell people how to vote.(there was a actual sheet of paper telling you how to vote!) I struggle to see where that is biblically supported. Then to bring some strange women into the church to allow her to kiss babies and shake hands and spew her on political views, has probably put the nail in the coffin of me ever going back. That and the lack of diversity on all levels. To bad I thought my family and I were going to call this church home... but the search continues.
