Each time they usually reposition and apologise and its never more than one nail. This time however the girl didnt even acknowledge it, she just kept going. I love the set but she was just too rough.
SKY NAIL SPA - Redding Shelby Bartlett: I’ve been to this place for the last couple years, but the last few times I’ve gone the quality of work has significantly gone down. I got a pedicure today and had to ask him several times to make sure they were even and actually cut, especially the big toe where I get ingrown nails all the time. Then when it came to painting the nails, the paint was not even. Also asked for a design on the big toe which is an additional charge, for that additional charge, I could’ve done it myself.
I don’t think I’ll be back due to the last several poor experiences.
Crystal Nails - Redding Judith Strand: Best nail salon in town! I can always get the design I ask for. I usually make an appointment and always get taken care of as soon as I walk through the door. I am always getting compliments on my nails and I always recommend going to Crystal Nails!
Nail Salon Redding Beautiful Nails - Redding Taz Diehl: I called around 1130am and asked if there were 2 pedicure appointments available around 2p; and they had 2 appointments available for 230p. While this salon does have walk-ins available, I had read many reviews that stated that if you made appointments, you would get 1:1 attention from the owners, Tim & Jennifer. While we were about 25 minutes early, the owners were quick to put my husband and in the pedicure chairs.
One of the reasons I chose this salon was the bags that are put in the pedicure tubs; because that showed me that the owners were understanding of cleanliness and keeping infections down.
Tim & Jennifer are the owners of this gem in Redding, CA. The prices were reasonable and both took such great care of our toes. We felt like valued customers. We will definitely be back when we come back to town!!
Xpo Nails - Redding Lupe Martinez: Probably the worst nail experience I have ever had. Please note that cuticle care is not included in a full set and will be charged an additional 10$ for a “manicure” I’ve never been to a salon that did not include that in the nail prep. He was very harsh and aggressive when filing, Shape was lopsided and uneven. The man didn’t say a single word the whole time, which is fine but very uncomfortable. He kept pulling out tools that were not new including the buffer and nail file were used already and no drill bits were labeled “clean” place is dirty I would never return or send anyone here after this.
All Things Glitter Nail Salon - Redding A W: 62 year old guy...never been in a nail place in my life except to pick up and drop off my wife. The wife scheduled me for a pedi with Sarah and TOLD me I was going. Been married long enough not to argue and was so glad I went! Sarah made me comfortable, did all the maintenance I never have, and definitely improved the health of my feet. Guys ...these girls got something good going on here. Five Stars!
PRO NAILS REDDING - Redding Melissa Dustin: Been going here for years. Never been treated the way my daughter and I was today by Julie the owner. Both got nails done and pedicure. We got 2-$30 pedicures and a fill $35 new set $50 but they said cost $175. Ok paid it. Lady who did pedicure had no clue what she was doing and scratched my legs up. Also she had a wrap on arm with gross stuff like infection. Once she took gloves off. I had her stop. Game over. Paid and left.
Kapows Nails - Redding Angel Frish: I absolutely love my nails every time! I mainly go to kapow but kaochi and hli are so talented too. They do all sorts of lengths and are super honest about if they can make a design happen or not(which usually they can do whatever you want) Definitely have to book in advance but its well worth it. They use fresh nail files on you every time and send you home with the ones used on you so you know its clean and they try their best to fit you in on the off chance a nail breaks or the paint chips. And at the same price as most of the other nail spots around here, cant go wrong.
Amazin Nails - Redding Karly Harris: I had the best experience with Amazin’ Nails. I have been here a few times and stopped getting my nails done for a while, but recently returned. Amazing Nails is the best salon in the area. The salon always smells nice, is extremely clean and well kept. It’s also quiet, and only a few clients are in the salon at a time, which I appreciate. I always get a dip powder manicure. They always take their time and the result is beautiful. The owners are extremely kind and friendly. I love getting my nails done here and I won’t go anywhere else!
Queen Nails - Redding Hannah Burns: The people here are so sweet! I took my stepdaughter in for her first salon manicure, and the gentleman who did her nails was so nice and patient despite her being shy and not quite knowing what she needed to do with her hands. He even gave her some cute flowers and gems on her nails without us having to ask, she absolutely loves them! Our nails look wonderful and he was speedy too, which is great when you’ve got an antsy kiddo waiting for your manicure to be finished lol.
The salon is super cute and clean with nice music playing. They even have an adorable shop dog who my kiddo (and I) loved. Highly recommend Queen Nails!
