I’ve always had great experiences at San Benito Veterinary Center, and this update reflects just how much I appreciate their care and compassion!
A few months ago, I requested a spay and rear dew claw removal quote for my Aiko. After saving up, I came back to request the spay quote again but the price had increased by a couple of hundred dollars. While this was disappointing, the team kindly provided recommendations for low-cost alternatives nearby. I ultimately went with one of those options for the spay alone.
During Aiko’s spay recovery, I noticed swelling around her incision on day 12 and called San Benito Veterinary Center. They immediately made room for us the same day, showing their dedication to Aiko’s well-being. The team was incredibly attentive and helped us get her back on track. She’s now healing quickly, and I’m so grateful for their support during a stressful time.
San Benito Veterinary Center continues to be a fantastic resource, and I can’t recommend them enough for their kindness and care!

I had such a pleasant experience at San Benito Veterinary Center today with my Australian Shepherd, Aiko. From start to finish, the entire team was incredibly kind, understanding, and empathetic, making a typically stressful visit smooth and comfortable for both Aiko and me.
Aiko is a fearful, reactive dog, but Dr. Arthur Sanders and the lovely technician, whose name I forgot to grab, were amazing with her. They allowed us to wait in the car after checking in, which helped keep Aiko calm. When they were ready, they came out to retrieve us, showing a great understanding of her needs.
Dr. Sanders was exceptionally patient and understanding of Aikos reactions. He allowed her to approach him first, ensuring she felt safe before continuing with the exam. This level of empathy and patience made a huge difference.
Mikaeyla at the reception was also fantastic, ensuring a smooth check-in process and being attentive to our needs!
I highly recommend San Benito Veterinary Center for their exceptional care and understanding, especially for pets with special behavioral needs. We look forward to our future visits, knowing Aiko is in such caring and capable hands. Thank you, Dr. Sanders and the entire team, for your outstanding service!
