Startech told me that he will do whatever need to be done on my maintenance list, gave me everything in writing. His cost was $120. I also got a brake job done else where I was told $340. His cost was $120 as well. Oh, yeah what is great is I found him totally unexpected. I went there because smog test total cost is usually only $40 and everyone else around Eagle Rock and Pasadena and Glendale around him is at $60+. He is also very quiet and doesnt say much. . .

Chuck was incredibly informative and took the time to explain everything to me and even took me into the shop to show me everything. He not only got me in right away but even got the work done and parts ordered in time to get me on the road by the date I was supposed to leave! Very short notice! He found all the leaks and even found some issues that would have definitely left me stranded in the middle of nowhere. He was completely honest, told me exactly what need to be done now and what could wait. As a female with a older car it’s extremely hard to find mechanics that will be truthful and trustworthy. His prices were fair and matched with the pricing I researched online. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone looking for honesty and a good explanation/education on what’s going on.
