Marcia Zientek: Our docent was very knowledgeable, explaining the exhibits. We learned much more about the history of the area.
    Lumsden Park - Placerville
    Lumsden Park
Mary Rebikone: Lumsden Park is a small playground located in a quiet neighborhood, surrounded by trees and fresh air. There’s no restroom, but there are a couple of picnic tables (without grills). One unique feature of this park is the nearby lake — we saw kids coming specifically to fish there, which seems like a fun and engaging activity for them.

Lisa Proctor: Heather is a pioneer of ElDorado County. She has a vast knowledge of the history. She goes out of her way to make sure you enjoy your visit. She loves her job and it shows. She was very helpful in helping find information on my family. Definitely worth stopping in.
    Apple Hill - Placerville
    Apple Hill
Carmen Cruz: My first time there, lots of good pastries, apples done in every way deliciously made, bottled, in baskets too! Theres a pond there with picnic tables and ducks in the water, Be careful with the Apple Fritters, tooo delicious and huge! And very friendly people all around, the grounds are clean too.
    Druid Monument - Placerville

P Amy- Freebird “freebird”: Unfortunate placement, its in the middle of a very busy intersection. No way to get a good picture unless you Dodge traffic and stand in the middle of the road. No historical back ground except what is on the monument, which is difficult to read because of placement.
    Lions Park - Placerville
    Lions Park
Lillian: Lions Park in Placerville, CA, is quite a gem. Shes a beaut! The park was dedicated in 1968 by the Placerville Lions Club. 24 acre park with two tennis courts, four pickle ball courts, two softball fields, frisbee disc golf course, childrens play area, restroom, walking trail, and picnic tables and bbqs. The courts are locked though. City residents can purchase a key from the Citys Parks and Recreation Office to access the courts. The park was extremely clean and well maintained. On my weekend visit, I was surprised to see a groundskeeper working on a weekend afternoon. He was no slacker. No wonder this place was so neat and tidy.
Fresno County Blossom Trail - Fresno
    Fresno County Blossom Trail
Gourish: Its a car driven trail (not a hiking trail) of nearly 67 miles.. it takes you thru different farms and restaurants to stop by. Timing is very important since the flowers bloom and fall/fade pretty quickly

Elizabeth Jimenez: I went as a group (field trip) with my daughters school. We had an amazing time learning about Kearney and some of Fresnos history. Tour guides explained each station well. I will definitely be visiting again with my family. There is so much to look at and learn about!
    Fresno Chaffee Zoo - Fresno
    Fresno Chaffee Zoo
Samantha S.: I had so much fun at this zoo! I went with my adult daughter while we were in town for a day and we enjoyed it. Im so glad I sprung for the premium admission so we got to pet the rays and sharks, see the butterflies, and feed the giraffes. The enclosures here are lovely. The animals seem well taken care of.
    Fresno Art Museum - Fresno

Museum staff is very friendly and helpful. Good gift shop. Very quiet on a Saturday morning.
