3 /5 Doug Celeste: A nice parish that I attend when I am in town. I miss the kneelers, though, and the lack of pews. The seating is tolerable but not that comfortable. But I really HATE all the people chatting in the church before Mass like they are at a party. It is VERY distracting but the parish allows it. Too bad. The Pastor is wonderful and the ushers are very friendly which makes up for these other negative things that I mentioned.

5 /5 John Alviso: Attended a BAPTISM class so I can become a GODFATHER agian very clean and roomy chapel also been there attending a fall FESTIVAL and RUMMAGE SALE was very good food wine,music kids shows had a very hood time looking out for another FESTIVAL

Leslie Yip: I hate to be so blunt but I found the people rude. I was brand new to the church and someone told I put on a lot of weight. I politely told him to stop. He kept on going on and told me I am lazy. I wake up everyday at 5:30 a.m. to to work. I dont think I will be going back again. That is very inconsiderate to say to a new person and dont common on people weight. I also struggle with some health problems and I am putting the review to bring awareness to others commenting on weight is not okay and people have health problems. Another lady on the prayer team told me I was too fat and I eat too much.

John Terry: Went here for easter 2025 celebrations. Great place and organizers. Everyone was friendly but a lady that was on a table with easter eggs shouted at a group of parents whose kids grabbed eggs before they were supposed to. She asked the parents to teach their kids manners in a rough tone and they told their kids to return the eggs. I am sure this is inconsistent with the values of the church and this lady needs to be taught a thing or two about how kids get excited about things and how to do her job. It seemed that she did not like this specific group, but anyhow, this is the only bad experience. Or else, a welcoming place for all types of humans.

Sergio Solorio: Ive attended this church for many years, and my experience has overall been very satisfactory. The congregation is quite friendly. Design of the church is noteworthy and rather quaint. The Sunnyvale parakeets sometimes like to hang out and chirp about, which brings a pleasant ambiance to the church. Father Roberto, the pastor, is known for his knowledgable lectures and dedications to the well-being of St. Martin.

Steve James: Very nice church. Went to observe a renewal of wedding vows and was very impressed with the church. It was clean, covid protocols were observed and the door was left open for extra ventilation. The Father who officiated was very professional while not being a pompous oaf. I liked him but cannot remember his name. Had a good sense of humor and was aware of the real world as it is, not as it should be.

Theologically, Pastor Bufords approach positions the church well, with a commitment to the love of God for all people, the acknowledgement that the world today is not yet the reality that we seek, and a strong, repeated assertion that positive change in ourselves and in the larger world is both a possibility and a responsibility. The worship style is mainline Protestant in a traditional church sanctuary, with a few elements of what I might call "praise worship" interspersed. Sunday attendance levels of 20 to 30 people (as of summer 2016) put this church into the "cozy and get to know everyone" category, so if youre looking for anonymity within a crowd of several hundred worship attendees, thats probably not what youll find here. Worship at 11 AM is always followed by refreshments (and occasionally a full catered lunch) and conversation in the fellowship hall, so come for the service and stay for the people.

Wil W: The church hosted a tremendously powerful performance of Dan Forrests "Requiem For The Living", a contemporary work for choir and orchestra. Cupertino High Schools choirs and orchestra played and sang beautifully! The church has plentiful parking and warm friendly people.
