nanette leblanc: very nice pastors, working with the community to have a community garden. They did a celebration for the garden & a mural that was painted. Some city & UCR officials came. They had subway sandwiches & invited people to take home food that was grown there. The city officials were very nice, they spoke with many there. Several people from the community came, they had music, took videos & photos. Everyone was invited to the services for Sunday. They had cookbooks & other literature available. It was kid friendly. Some of the officials were very down to earth. One I asked to sit on the ground for a photo, she was in a blue green dress, she was very nice & obliged. The sense of community was very present in all the people that came.
