Maci is so thoughtful and skilled and I feel very lucky to be able to have her do my hair! She always listens and delivers. Her assistants have also been wonderful. I even send my mom to see another stylist at sand & sage every month for her color. After she lost all her hair following brain surgery, Kendall gradually helped her grow it out healthy, and nicely colored. Couldn’t recommend Sand & sage more!

I had extensions done by someone else before I came to her and my scalp was super irritated from the method I had done before. Once she put in IBE I felt the weight lifted off my scalp. She placed them in a perfect spot that makes them comfortable and look so natural. I highly recommend Maci!

Maci net with me and listened patiently, noting my super fine hair and postpartum hair loss concerns. She looked at the extensions I had been getting and took the time to educate me on how her hand tied extensions were better that the type I had been using for my long term hair goals and health overall. I am so grateful for Maci! I’ve been able to grow my hair and feel beautiful and confident while rocking some of the most gorgeous extensions. I would never go anywhere else. From the atmosphere of the salon to the staff, it’s just so well done. It feels like such a retreat to get my hair done at Sand and Sage. I genuinely love this salon and cannot recommend it highly enough!

Chris Mootham: This is where my moms hair stylist has her business. Amy is excellent and we drive 40 minutes just for her expertise. A dozen+ hairstylists with each having their own space. Beats having some tyrannical, greedy salon owner gouging people for their hard work. Quality is queen here and a relaxing atmosphere.

My boyfriend commented that its his favorite cut hes seen on me in 5 years! I absolutely loved how bouncy, full, and wavy she made my hair look. She also styled my hair for a wedding party I attended later, and made me feel fabulous! Stacey is a delight to chat with and I highly recommend her.

It’s so hard to even think about making an appointment and leaving my home and I called 2 places and left messages but Julie was the only one who texted me back. Her prices are reasonable and it includes wash, cut, dry and style. I told her exactly how I wanted my hair cut and provided her with images. She nailed it to a T. I loved her salon space. So warm, quiet and inviting. Plus, it was conveniently located. The products she used were wonderful. I felt so refreshed when I left her studio. It was like a spa experience! I look forward to coming back.

Morgan Walker: I called to book an appointment with someone who is good with curly hair and the women I spoke to recommended I book with Aliyah Koya. She seemed nice at the start but I asked her to do a blow out on my hair and she was going so fast she kept hitting me in the head with the blow dryer multiple times and was yanking on my hair. She also left my roots curly and was and frizzy because she didnt go slow enough for it to do anything other than my ends and I top of hat she never used heat protectant on me hair before blowing it out. She never asked how I want my hair parted and just left it jagged and uneven after washing it and then proceeded to cut it. I didnt notice that until I left. Im going to give her the benefit of the doubt and assume that she doesnt know how to style curly hair but I should never leave a salon and have to go fix my hair because it looked terrible and I had a headache all day from her hitting me with the blow dryer. I will not be going back to this location.

He listened to my concerns and left me with the length I wanted, and styled it using the texture of my hair (not just another straightener). I will definitely be going back again.

She fixed the color and also improved the health of my hair. She does such a great job with cut and color. My hair is beautiful and very healthy!! She’s taught me a lot about how to properly care for my hair. I also love the hair products she sells. I highly recommend her!!
