5 /5 Tracy Hernandez: Father Peter gave a homily like no other for Mothers Day.
We were in the area for work, so this was our first time attending Mass at this church.
I was challenged, affirmed, comforted, and moved to tears (like multiple Kleenex tears)... to take stock of & hear clearly & specifically the many forms of sacrificial love that many different kinds of moms provide. Hes very descriptive, and inclusive, AND doctrinally sound.
Im pretty sure everyone there could relate and appreciate all Moms in deeper way. He even mentioned moms who for whatever reason only had children in the womb. My husband even shed some tears!
He and the Deacon were both very reverent with the consecration and the Eucharist.
The whole Mass was a prayer, for me. I hope to attend again whenever were in the area.
