I showed up without appointment and was treated with kindness, appreciation and respect. They didnt offer my usual (dip, upscale high priced pedicure) but what they did have to offer came with attention to detail and quality service. My favorite part of my acrylic fill in (on my dip nail set WHICH came out flawless) and pedicure service was the pedicure massage and tiger balm oil foot treatment!!!! Im from Richmond but as of recent started going to a nail salon in Oakland BUT I Kims will start to see me much more often.

London Nail Salon - Richmond Mikeniecesha Hicks: Iām not sure who did my nails but she was the only one there. She had to redo my nails twice because they were super crooked. She told me she would fix it donāt worry. At the end Iām like you redid it just for it to be crooked still. She started filling saying she would fix it but they still came out crooked. She said my fingers were crooked. I was charged $60 crooked nails.
Lenas Nails - Richmond Lorna Jean Yabut: I have been coming to Lenas Nails for years and Lena is AWESOME! Her and her husband are a great team. He always helps her sweeping up, getting colors, getting towels, etc. The environment is always calm and relaxing. Theyre both friendly and polite, never rude, always asking how Ive been and talking about current events. Lena always uses clean tools and is the BEST when me it comes to an ingrown nail. She has a wide selection of colors, gel or acrylic, as well as hair removal services. She has a menu for all her services with pricing in full view. They always have me feeling relaxed and thoroughly pampered after each visit. I never go anywhere else! I even had Lena do my nails for my wedding thats how awesome I love her services!

Valley Nails & Spa - El Sobrante Lei: Always an amazing experience at Valley nails. Their services are wonderful and you really can get almost any design you can think of. They have so many products to use and their pedicures are detailed. Every tech that I have gotten here is talented and takes the time to make sure everything is perfect. Jennifer and May in particular are 10/10 amazing !!! Would recommend to anybody!
Tinas Nails - Richmond Love Love: Way over priced for a simple set (short acrylic French tip) IT COST ME OVER $75!! Iāve payed wayyy cheaper elsewhere. Tina tends to rush and Tony always does a great job but i equally feel they tend to just throw any price for nails. Iāve been coming here for YEARS now and itās just becoming ran down. I mostly come for eyebrows and literally have to wait over an hour!! Tony doesnāt do facials or waxing which only leaves Tina. She hardly cares and makes you wait which sucks bcus it only takes 10min for eyebrows ā¹ļø *sigh* I hate to say it, but I wonāt be returning, Iāve given this place chance after chance. Go spend your money where you are valued.
Classic Organic Nail Spa - Pinole Kyla Garrow: Iāve come here a few times and they do a great job. I love that there are organic and natural options for services and everyone that has helped me has been so nice and also thorough to make sure I get exactly what I wanted. I brought in a picture of a manicure that I liked for a wedding I was in and they exceeded my expectations with the execution! See photos for how they turned out. I have tried a few different services including gel manicure and the coconut spa pedicure. I love the lotions that they use (made in house!) and will continue to come back for more.
BouGie Babies Nail Spa - Emeryville Quania Jones: I recently took my niece and her favorite girls to Bougie Babies Nail Spa, and it was an absolute dream! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was luxurious, yet still totally welcoming for the kids. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the space itself is beautiful.
The girls were treated like royalty, each getting their own mani-pedi with non-toxic products. They were able to relax and enjoy their favorite movie while getting pampered, and the pizza they served after was a huge hit. While they were having their princess moment, I got to kick back in the lounge and sip on a mimosa, it was pure bliss.
If youāre looking for a place where the little ones can feel extra special and you can enjoy some downtime too, Bougie Babies Nail Spa is the perfect spot. Itās more than just a pampering session itās a whole experience that everyone will love! I highly recommend!
