Upon picking the truck up, I was speaking with the owner about how hot it was and I mentioned the AC didn’t work that well in the truck and he told me about this machine he just bought that fully services the system. So I said sure why not and next thing you know, my AC system was bled, checked for leaks and filled with brand new refrigerant! My AC hasn’t felt this cold in 10 years!! I’m so happy I decided to come here and their honesty and good workmanship has earned a new loyal customer!

    Latasha knighten: I took my car in for an oil leak check and spent $1,236 on repairs that Matt, the owner, identified as necessary. He told me it was a big job that would take a few days. When I called him on Monday to get an estimated time frame, he was dismissive and said he would contact me. I explained that I needed to rent a car and required an estimate to extend the rental. When I picked up my car, Matt showed me the part that was leaking. However, just two days later, I noticed the car was still losing oil rapidly. When I contacted Matt to let him know, he said I could bring it back on February 22. But when I called on February 21, he claimed he never told me that and suggested I come in the following Saturday instead. On March 1, I returned for service again. When I asked about a timeframe, Matt was rude. I reminded him again that I didn’t live locally and needed to make transportation arrangements. After they finished working on my car, he said they fixed the initial leak but claimed the other leaks weren’t his responsibility. I had to send a male friend to speak with him before Matt clarified what was supposedly fixed. He had backtracked on his assurances concerning the repairs. My dad went to the shop to discuss the issues, and Matt offered a different story, insisting he never said he would fix the other leaks. My dad pointed out that since I came in for the oil leak, it was Matts job to identify and address all the necessary repairs instead of just focusing on one area that he felt he needed to fix. A couple of weeks ago, I took my car to Jiffy Lube for an oil change, and they reported rapid oil leaking, advising me not to proceed with the oil change due to multiple leaks. I then drove my car back to San Francisco to a trusted mechanic, who informed me that my car was leaking from five different areas. Ive also spoken to two other customers who had similar complaints about Golden Gate Auto not fixing their cars properly.

    Vianey Gante: Worst customer service EVER!!! The two mechanics on site were very rude towards my husband and I. The only reason why my husband went back to that place was beacause he had done the oil change at first there, thinking they would be helpful to fix our car. Overall, the mechanic wanted to charge my husband an arm and leg for the parts supposibly with a "discount" that they give him, LIES!!! I got the same parts and saved almost $200 on parts, and the mister got hella mad cause we took the parts insted of him ordering them. Honsetly, I do not recommend this place at all !!!

    Elias Munguia: Very knowledgeable and professional. After calling almost all the mechanics in the city and even in Vacaville, most of them told me they would call me back with a quote for a specific job I was looking to get. Turns out none of them ever called me back and this is not the first time. Don helped me evaluate the problem over the phone and gave me a very reasonable quote for the job that I had requested on that same phone call unlike the other mechanics in the city. Once I dropped the car off, Don was able to diagnose my problem within an hour of me dropping it off after I had left. He called me and notified me that the problem was actually not what another mechanic had told me it was and told me what it actually was. Turns out my car was too far gone and needed a new engine. He didn’t charge me anything for the diagnosis and even towed the car back to my place with his towing services at a very reasonable price. Would highly recommend him and will be coming back to have work done on my cars in the future when needed.

Honest, friendly, skilled with fair pricing. I have been a customer for the last 3 years and have had timing belts replace, water pumps and fuel pumps replaced, break jobs and oil changes, alternator replaced and smog check/ emissions repair completed here. I feel blessed that I found James at Travis Automotive.

    BK Tulabut: Efficient, easy, and knowledgeable! I was referred to Victors shop from OReilly Auto Parts in Suisun and I was pleased with the referral. Victor answered my call right away and was able to see my car the next day. I was initially told from OReilly that I needed a part replaced, but when Victor looked at the car he noticed that all it needed was an oil change, and explained to me why - which I appreciated. He told me it would take 20 minutes to change the oil. Id left to go get a coffee at a nearby café and the car was ready and waiting upon my return. So far, the car is running smoother -- will update if anything changes. Thanks Victor!
