5 /5 Tima Team: I am a new LOYAL customer to Royal Smog&Mechanic shop. I had been here before for a smog check, and decided to stop by to get an estimate for my rear brakes after driving around town for the most reasonable price. The search was over after coming here. Great customer service and quality work! An honest mechanic is always much appreciated and thats what you will get when you visit this establishment. I would recommend this shop to anyone!

1 /5 terry mcdowell: Worst mechanic shop I ever been to. They put a radiator in for $1,400 I had to bring it back. Suddenly its a pinhole in my antifreeze reserve housing. He wanted $250 for that. I went to AutoZone buy it for $25 and put it in took me 15 minutes. They put a compressor in for $1,300, took them 3 hours. I had to bring it back. I advise you dont go there its bad

1 /5 Zen: These guys are rip-offs. Came by because my check engine light was on. They did scans but couldnt find anything. Sales guy convinced me that spending $800 on a transmission fluid change would likely solve the issue. So I paid up and the engine light came back on later. This time I called them up and I said "I think its a sensor." Guy assured me it was likely not a sensor and that he would have to take apart the front of my car to see if it was what he thought it was. My gut was telling me I was being ripped off so I went to a different mechanic. It was my oxygen sensor all along. $109 fix. :/ Edit to reply to response: I didnt say you fixed my transmission, I said you changed the fluid and charged me $800 for it.

Their customer service and good vibes brought me back the second time, and will bring me back again. The whole team is kind, efficient, honest, and they were very quick. They even drove to Walnut Creek to get parts to make sure the car would be ready since they knew I was without one. I have been looking for a fair mechanic since moving to Vallejo several years ago and am so happy to have finally found one.
