LeMoine Bond Realty Counsel: Wonderful folks...but no smiles of Christian triumph & happiness in congregation during Sunday AM SERVICE, OCT 22.. ...Excellent theology & fine conservative Biblically premised pastoral teaching sermon by lay-person apparently. ... (the organization) seems somewhat stoogy & clanish - evidentially has non energetic outreach plan for individuals or community... Horrible music...[fine but strange lyrics & non harmonic] - no traditional familiar Evangelical full gospel hyms or songs..(sorta felt cultists like satanic mormonism)..really not so.
DONNA EDWARDS: It welcomes everyone. The people are gracious, kind and loving. They help out the homeless, have their food bank and clothing closet on Wednesday mornings at 8:30 a.m.. And on Tuesdays thru Thursday mornings is the "WWJD Food Van" at 8:00a.m. - 9:00a.m. for your lunch bag and also serves hot delicious coffee & fresh donuts. Not just for homeless folks, if your down on your luck, come get prayer and something for your belly too. God Bless all the folks up there!
Jim Lea: The lighthouse is a beautiful place to learn about Gods word. Ive been attending for several years now and have learned that what is teached is straight from the Bible and not world views. Im very blessed to have these teaching in my familys life and in my life.
MAJ Mac: If you are wondering, this is a good place to spiritually rest. The church and its people are more than nice and accepting. If you seek fellowship and to be active in the congregation/community, then this is a place for you. If you seek individual reflection and a nurturing environment to do so, there is no pressure. You will be given your space. As the later has described me.
It is a diverse congregation that, in my opinion, creates a nurturing environment for all. Not easy to do in these politically diverse and spiritual differing, challenging times.
Thank You, Fr. Cliff and Rev. Babs, for fostering such a home of spiritual reflection, worship and fellowship. Its success is a reflection of you as well as the congregation.
