3 /5 Deena Blas: Really disappointed in trying to get my hair done with Mia Robertson. I went to her initially and to her credit, did a great job. Rescheduled a follow-up and was told by Mia she couldnt do my hair but could have one of her other stylists. That person did a mediocre job. I was trying to get an A-line cut and although I asked her several times that I wanted more of a slant, it still looked like a bob gone awry. Gave up and went home and had my daughter fixed it. Took my business to Dukes and Dolls in Petaluma. They are excellent but difficult to get in quickly. On a whim decided to give Robertson Roe another shot. I wanted a cut and color and wildly enough was able to get in with Mia. But apparently they could only do the cut and so instead of just keeping my appt, they cancelled the whole thing. Yes, they did try to call me and left a voicemail but I wasnt expecting a call and dont listen to voicemails in this day and age of solicitation calls. They sent me one text, the day they cancelled. Called to ask what the deal was to which I was told by Mia that she couldnt get me in until 3 weeks out but of course I can see one of her other stylists. I dont recommend this business because their communication is terrible and it seems to be a bait and switch using Mia to pull in clientele and then pass off to her other stylists that are not very good.
