5 /5 Luke Scott: My wife and I attended Calvary this morning while in Santa Barbara on vacation. We decided to try it out because it was one of the local churches listed on the 9Marks church directory. Several church members warmly greeted us when we arrived. Music style was a mix of hymns and contemporary praise, all very singable and not showy. Pastor Michael’s expository preaching was engaging and edifying. I would highly recommend Calvary Baptist Church to anyone who is visiting the area or looking for a home church.

5 /5 Jacob Nie: Calvary Baptist is a wonderful and recently growing Christ-centered church. I attended in my college years. The preaching is verse by verse exposition, and worship strikes a balance between traditional and contemporary. The congregation is unusually friendly, so I encourage anybody to visit. Please be sure to say hi to the pastors at the front once the service has concluded!
